Ten years on... my machine is still going strong... yes, it had few problems... but Godrej care was quick enough to resolve those. Some problems that I could recall were: 1. PCB got fried - got it replaced with some cost out of my pocket. 2. Rats ate up all the wiring - my fault. 3. Very... recently - its dryer motor failed. Got it replaced for 2.5K. I am still happy with my decision.. and plan to keep the machine for few more years. I rate Godrej care response as very good!Read More

I have the exact case: I enabled the ECS - HDFC insurance forgot to debit my account and now they have put the policy in Lapsed state. Repeated calls, visits to branch office, mails is not yielding any results. Down with HDFC!

My guess is 'Press * to continue' is provided to avoid automated dialing into the bank by some hacker or something related to it. You are right even personal services ICICI suck!
