Consider this:-Rocking crowd and blaring music at 2 in the night, wonderfully laidback bar tenders great ambience and a cool breeze blowing across to soothe your spirits sounds like I am hallucinating..RIGHT??. Well what if I said I am not..coz I am talking about arguably the most rocking place in North Goa if not entire Goa TITO'S.
I went to Goa just this weekend with few of my friends and I have to confess I was mesmerized by the place so much so that we started planning what would it take to buy a flat here on EMI and stuff like that. Believe me all ya people who haven?t been to Goa yet you gotta go there once if not more..!!
Well coming back to the topic of my essay...TITO'S.
We were sitting in one of the shacks at 2 in the morning at Calangute and staring blankly at the serene sea that stretched like Silver in front of us. Our lull was abruptly broken by the dude there at the shack who said it was pack up time. Being in the state we were in, we didn?t want to go back and sleep so we asked him where we could and have some fun at this time of the night and pat came the reply..Tito's.So we headed like zombies to our destination.
Location its located off the Bagha beach if one were to take a short cut from that side or otherwise one can get there from the normal road, the first left turn after Cafe Coffee Day. The location of this place makes it one of the most happening spots in Goa as Calangute and Bagha are both arguably the best beaches in Goa.
The Ambience Tito's has one of the most rocking crowd one can find in all of Goa what with a mélange of young wannabes and foreigners thronging the place to have some fun. The place has a uniqueness of its own something which I for one haven?t found anywhere else. The entire road is owned by the Tito's chap it seems coz there is a bar cum restaurant along with a discotheque and a few other things all by the name of Titos. One of the locales confided to us that if you looking for some mischief during the night time Tito's is the place to be.
a la carte Tito's has something for everyone as long as one is in the mood to have some fun. For someone who wants to sit and have a quiet time with some booze for company he/she can head to the lounge bar, for someone who wants to shake a leg or two the place to be is the discothèque. Food, booze,music,babes wow everything can be found here aplenty. There is also a pastry shop here where one can feast on the choicest of Goan delicacies straight from the bakery.
What's so special the specialty of this place is inarguably the ambience and liveliness that it provides you with. We went there at around 2:30 in the morning and we were stunned to see the road jam packed with people and cars jostling to make their way in the mire. What more this was just the start of the season so one can only imagine what would be the scene like during the Carnival time. The crowd here is mind boggling to say the least, wow one can just keep drooling lol.
the flip side well now c?mon, the place cant have any flip sides to it, can it? The price is one of the biggest flips if u ask me, the drinks which one could easily get for 75-100 at any other place would cost you around 150-200 here. Apart from that entry into the disco is cheaper for couples at 300 bucks while for stags it is 500.Well mate in life you need to have a mate to get ahead..lol.Apart from that this is not the place for the sober kinds what with the ambience which keeps enticing you to get wicked.
the Last word well a place worth going if one is in Goa.I for one can safely say that your Goa visit is incomplete without going to Tito's once atleast.It might be costly but then we can all afford to splurge once in a while for fun. cant we?
