This review is about a new product on Samsung which is yet to be listed in MS. The model number is LA26B350. It is a 26" LCD television which can be either wall mounted or placed on a pedestal. I purchased this recently in exchange of my 10 year old Sharp TV which was performing OK. However, the problem with Sharp was that it was the conventional bulky body and occupied too much space. Also, because of it being old technology, it could not catch all the channels and the reception also was not too good in all channels.
I already have a Samsung 32" LCD and I am pretty happy with it overall(with the exception of speakers which are behind the TV). So, we were very clear that we want to buy another Samsung only(provided it had speakers in the front).
This product is a standard product with feather touch buttons for manual operations. It has pseakers in front, so one does not have to keep the volumes at high levels. I am pretty much satisfied with the product so far(it has been only 4 days since we brought it). I will keep updating this review with more details in the days to come.
I wrote this review mainly to appreciate their service levels which is setting benchmarks. I got a SMS the next day of purchase thanking me and welcoming me to the Samsung family. They also SMSed me to tell me that they will be coming in 24 hours to install the TV on the wall. Then I got a call to confirm the time for installation and after installation another call to ask if everything is OK.
I had a small problem in the TV and when I called their service hotline+91 120 3030 8282, they recognised my mobile number and had all the details of my purchase and promised a call from the technical team within 2 hours. Wow! Thats is what I call service. Keep it up guys. Most appliance purchasers in the country are seeking this level of service from the manufacturers. And are disappointed that most manufacturers think that they do not need to care for the customer after purchase.
