Phuhleeezzz !!!. Review on Remix

Welcome to Maurya High, a school for rich and spoiled brats (with a few exceptions). Let us take a tour of the school first. There you see a couple of boys and girls in gym uniform practicing for a dance competition. Lets move a little further and enter the hostel. Did you notice a masked group coming secretly into boys hostel and they fled after beating a bespectacled ,seemingly studious boy? Lets see whats going on in the girls hostel . As you expected a bunch of girls gossiping about boy friends and dates, lobbying and nagging.

Phew !! Enough of the student?s activity I guess. Lets go and see what is happening inside the principal?s office .Perhaps we may see something sensible happening. Sorry guys the scene here is worse then the students hostel itself. Do you see a reputed businessman and father of a student coming and blasting at the chief of the school as if he were a peon?

Wait I see a famous actress and mother of one of the student entering the principal?s office. Are you seeing what I am seeing?? The school principal eying and flirting this parent cum actress with that unmistakable gleam in his eyes which simply can?t be mistaken.

By now you might have got a fairly good idea about this show called Remix being shown on Star One. I know what you must be saying at this moment that you have noticed everything in this school but what about the prime purpose of a school , which I guess must be studies. Sorry guys you are in for a disappointment cause you won?t see anything remotely related to studies in the school being shown in this show. Yes , once in a while you may hear some sort of whisper about some project which is never submitted.

Remix is an hour long show being shown from 8 to 9 pm on latest channel by star Tv called Star One. The show targets mainly the urban youth or shall I say the typical metro teenagers. Its all about youth, rebels, the typical frame of mind of teenagers in metro cities. As Ceo Star Tv mr. Peter Mukereja quotes We show what the audience wants.

There are four main characters around whom the story(if there is any) revolves. Let me introduce them and you will get a clearer picture of the show as well as the school.

Tia Ahuja Spoilt daughter of a rich businessman. Very very very??ad infinitum cautious about her appearance ,lipstick shades and her hair style. Friends call her Babe. You will very often hear her saying Phuhhleezzzzz and Tia ahuja hona koi mamuli baat nahin hai. Warning:She will definitely irritate you with her not so funny and pathetic dialogue delivery.

Acting : 3/10

Anvisha Banerjee The daughter of a renowned actress. You can easily recognize her with her outrageously dyed hair. I can?t quite say what color are they. Probably magenta or may be purple or whatever. Well she is playing a rebellious daughter ignored by father and pampered by mother. She fears nobody and can knock anyone off .When I say anyone I mean it.

Acting: 4/10

Yuvraaj Dev Ha ! here comes another brat. Son of a reputed maarvadi businessman, rebellious in all senses. Want to be a musician or guitarist. Smokes and drinks often (in his words kabhi kabhi friends ke saath le leta hun).You want have problem recognizing him with his unique and unruly hairstyle and not to forget the weird postures he makes in the name of acting.

Acting: 3/10

Ranveer Welcome the Rajpoot boy who ran away from home and took admission in this school cause his enemies daughter studies here. He is here for a purpose and that is to avenge his grand pa?s death. Always speak of himself in third person.

Acting :4/10

Enough said and done about the show and its characters. Aren?t you curious with all these odds why in the name of God I recommended it? Well the statistics say that The audience of 15-34 age group known as the fickle audience in TV industry jargon seems to like star one So I guess it?s the fickle in me who despite all odds still watch this shows.

So again I conclude this review with following words: Half the things shown in this show will not make any sense to you. The rest of the things and affairs will be senseless too. Acting by crew is below average. Still you will have fun watching it once in a while. You will get a lot of unintended humor and lot to criticize.
