Is Readership means everything. Is Malayala Manorma the best daily in Kerala. Well as a Keralite I am proud that we have the highest rate of literacy and also the first state to achieve it. Also I am ashamed to say that Malayala Manorama is the largest read paper in Kerala. We have heard our 'Sakhakkal' telling about Capitalism, what is Malayala Manorama, Did any one ever thinked of it. How they portray the news, it is actually affecting the culture of the people in Kerala. MM is just opposing Marxist party and its leaders, every single kid in kerala knows that. Now a days they are supporting A K Antony, it is a very good thing to support the Chief Minister, when he is being opposed by a strong opposition. But what are they doing, when you are talking about something, as a newspaper you should show us both sides of the coin. They Global Investors Meet(GIM) was it the idea of ruling Govt only ?, well if u r regular reader of MM u will insist that Antony brought the GIM idea with him, is it true ? how many of you agree with it. This is just a current example of how MM is biased. Once Swami Vivekanandan told that 'Keralam is a Bhranthalayam'. All of us know that Kerala is affected with a cancer, the Cast Spirit. Didn't you ever felt that MM is pouring Ghee into that fire. Just think of it. All of us are aware that MRF is owned by MM. Do you know that one of main hands in reducing the rubber price was MM's. Yes, its true. Even now most of the families in Pala Kottayam areas are stopping their subscription, just ask any of em y they are doing it. Now lets look into the advertisments they are putting into. Lets take an example, look at today's paper(any day's) MM, how many is there to read. Above 65% is covered by the advertisments. Advertisment is essential for a paper to live along. Others papers do put ads, lets take TOI for example, they put a seperate pullouts for advertisments. Shouldn't other papers also should follow their way. Everyone in Kerala is Literate that doesn't mean all are educated, I think it is the duty of the media to educate them as all of em has the ability, time or/and money to get educated. But sadly look what the current media is doing :( I will only put a HELL NOOOO .... to Malayala Manaorama
