KTM’s new street fighter, Duke 890 is built around the Steel Trellis frame akin to other models from the bike maker’s line of models. Engine powering the bike could range between 800 to 900cc featuring modern goodies like liquid-cooling, double cramshaft with four valves per cylinder and fuel injection among others. As for power output, the engine is expected to deliver 110 to 115bhp. For Indian market, this could possibly be the first performance bike from KTM
Talking about the frame, the new KTM Duke 890 continues to get a Steel Trellis frame, similar to other models from the bike maker. The WP sourced inverted forks continue to serve purpose at the front, whereas a monoshock suspension setup does duty at the rear. Ergonomically, the bike gets an upright seating position while the foot pegs for the pillion are expected to see a different mounting as compared to the prototype being tested.
