I frequently travel by Indigo as the service which you get is good and also the you ten to get ticket at reasonable rate.
But of late whenever I go for webcheck in and do seat selection I am asked with extra charges for seats in reclining row and for seats in those rows where there is ample leg space are also in demand with extra charges.
Seats withe reclining cost Rs 50 per seat and with ample leg space seat cost Rs 300 per seat a family of 4 in either case would land up paying Rs 400 or 1200 extra over and above the ticket which they would have purchased.
Is this correct the tickets are not sold free of cost so why such additional charges for selection of seat. tomorrow they might take extra for a window or a aisle seat who is monitoring these, if they are left like these then what was in news few days back that ticket will cost 20k to 40k will be reality.
Even trains which also the seat preference which we can select and which are in demand does not charge more for lower berth which is most preferred. Why such difference is what we need to know from the indigo management.
