I am sharing my recent travel experience with Indigo, where my luggage was misplaced by the airlines staff. I was travelling from Delhi to Guwahati. And my bag contained camera and power bank. The airlines staff shipped my luggage to pune instead of guwahati and when I called customer care, they told me that it was my fault, why didn't I pay attention to the sticker put by person attending the passengers for boarding pass. I was like, wait, is it my duty to check that, seriously? I asked them to ship my bag to ghy as soon as possible. After that they told me that your bag contained power bank thats why it is stuck and and can't be sent within day's time. Again seriously? If there was security problem, how come it passed the security check in the first place when it was shipped to pune. Now it was something serious, they were playing with the security of many passengers!
Customer service was so bad that I had to make calls every time and tell them the whole story again and again. I called them around 20-25 times and repeated the same stuff again and again, after which I finally got a confirmation that your bag would be sent to ghy in the next day's flight to guwahati. After all this, there was one more hurdle. They refused to send my luggage to my address and asked me to come to airport. I suppose, after wasting some much of my time and money, they should have atleast sent my luggage to my address.
I am never gonna travel with Indigo again and recommend all of you the same because I have come across many people facing same problem of luggage being misplaced by Indigo staff.
