What would happen if you led a perfect life, with a perfect job, a perfect partner, a perfect family and a perfect house? Surely you would be the happiest person on Earth right? But, I think that there is so such thing as perfect; it is just people’s perception of their idealistic views. My view of perfect is a life, which has its ups and downs, but everything always happens for the best. I think that being optimistic about life is essential for it to be near perfect, and everybody should face everything with a brave smile.
On the subject of perfect, I think it is every guy and girl’s dream to have a perfect love life The first meeting, the falling in love, the wonderful times spent together; if some people have this then they could possibly be the luckiest people in the world. So lets all of us lovely people on Mouthshut join together and imagine the perfect love story. Here are songs I would sing for my beloved at different stages in the perfect story! (from a girl’s perspective! :P)
The girl dreams of the person she will meet, who she has already met in her dreams. She senses him, he’s already stolen her heart, but she just doesn’t know who he is, where he is and when she’ll meet him.
Woh kaun hai: Shaadi ka Ladoo:
This is a very sweet song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, ideal for any girl with her dreams and anticipations of her future life. One word to sum this song up: beautiful. The lyrics are very sweet and very true too! You can just imagine a young girl singing this with her rainbow coloured glasses, looking and waiting for what the future brings for her. The one who comes into my dreams and steals my heart, the one who steals my sleep, who is he?
Sapno me aake chura jaye dil, neende jo churatha hai,
Woh kaun hai, who kaun hai?
The boy and the girl meet for the first time and immediately feel a connection between them. They know that “this is the one” and they burst into song at the new and wonderful feelings they are experiencing.
Kuch tho Hua Hai: Kal Ho Naa Ho:
This is a wonderful love song, with lovely music and a beautiful melody. It expresses the confusion, the strangeness and the sweetness of love and how everything around you seems so great when you have that first glimpse of it. Sung very well by Shaan and Alka Yagnik, it is one of the cutest songs out of my choices! I put things down and then forget, unknowingly I hum, now when I’m alone I smile.
Cheez me rakh ke, bhul jaati hoon,
Bekarari me gungunathi hoon,
Ab akele me muskurati hoon
The two meet, the two talk, the two realise that they are in fact in love. These moments are some of the happiest in their lives and they know that whatever will happen, this magic will never disappear.
Jaadu hai: Ghulam:
This is also a gorgeous song, sung so nicely with its lilting melody and wonderful https://lyrics. It has got very sweet music with both fast and slow parts. This song expresses the spell that the magician of love cast’s on somebody and how it posseses them. Magic, its your magic, which has been cast upon my heart. Oh darling tell me what did you do, I have a sweet kind of ache.
Jaadu Hai, tera hi jaadu, jo mere dil pe chaane laga,
Deewane mere yeh tho batha kya kiya tumne, meetha sa dard hone laga
The girl prays that this happiness and this love will never disappear, because she knows that she loves him. Her fantasies, hopes and dreams are all devoted to this joy of hers.
Aaye ho meri zindagi mein: Raja Hindustani:
I know, this is another female dominated song, but it is still one of the sweetest love songs ever. This song is devoted to a girl’s wish that her love never goes away from her because it is what makes her happy. Sung in Alka Yagnik’s sweet voice, and with its cute melody, nobody can say that this song isn’t beautiful! You’ve come into my life like the spring, stay in my heart forever, and reside in it as my love.
Aaye ho meri zindagi mein tum bahar banke,
Mere dil mein yun hi rehna, tum pyaar pyaar banke
Obviously, every perfect story has to have some lapses in it; the two discover they are complete opposites, but then they realise that they don’t live with each other’s bad habits, they love them! (hehe, taken from Salaam Namaste…does that give you a clue?
My Dil Goes Hmmm: Salaam Namaste:
Well, you knew this was going to be mentioned didn’t you, seeing as it’s one of my favourite songs and has been my screenname for the last month! Sung perfectly by Shaan and Gayatri Iyer, this song was an immediate success. It expresses that faults don’t affect love! On top of this, this song has some of the nicest modern music compared to the weird English rubbish that remixes come up with. When I talk to him, it looks like he’ll fall asleep, but when he comes quietly and wakes me up, picks me up and falls himself, thats when my heart goes hmm.
Karti hoon jab use baatein, lagta hai sone vaala hai,
Par chupke se woh aaye, bina neend se mujhe jagaye,
Le bahon me aur khud hi girjaye,
My dil goes hmmmmmm
The two vow to stay with each other no matter what happens, what obstacles come in their path, what anyone says or does. And with this they commit themselves to the beginning of a long and wonderful journey
Jab koi baat: Jurm:
I think this is the song which has been mentioned in every single review on this wonderful topic, and this is because its one of the nicest and most legendary songs made. It says that whatever happens, the two will always be by each other’s sides and fully committed. It is sung beautifully, with great lyrics and the singers are fabulous! When something goes wrong, when a difficulty arises, do stay with me my darling.

Tum dena saath mera, oh humnavaaz.
So there is my view of a perfect love story; and lets just say that these two lived happily ever after. But my lovely people on mouthshut; don’t be under the wrong impression because this isn’t the end. Its just the beginning. The beginning of a perfect life.
