Hey Guys, I have purchased Excitel's broadband services in November 2015 on my birthday and this is the first Broadband connection we bought.
This is performing in the craziest way with cheap price plans as compare to other market leaders/competitors.
As I know, this is the Delhi based company and doing well in these days.
Performance: In West Delhi, Excitel is very popular and they're giving speed as they said. Its possible that it can be varied according to the router's location. In my case, the router is located in my mom's room and there its giving downloading speed around 35 - 40 Mbps and my room was 3rd from there so its giving 12 - 20 Mbps However, I've bought the minimum plan of 50 Mbps. One more thing that my router is still same as they operated at that time of connection fitting in 2015. Its Binatone single antenna router.
Price and Plans: The First thing, Excitel's all plans are coming with "Unlimited Usage" with no capping while no one in the market giving the same thing for years and still continuing.
The reason of writing this review because today I've bought the plan of 100 Mbps for 9 months in just 4999 which means Rs.555 per month. This is an unlimited plan with no capping. There are so many different plans of monthly/quarterly/half-yearly or annual basis. The minimum monthly plan is 50 Mbps in Rs.699+ GST.
Services: Excitel has call center bit in this COVID situation they're not taking Inbound Calls as I checked might be if you're applying for the new connection, they'll call you, It should be.
On the other hand, in these 5 years of relationship with Excitel I just called on the customer care number just 2 or 3 times because of the Local Partners in your area who fit the connection at your location. They'll give you their number or you can ask and in case any issue, you just call them, they'll resolve the issue at their end and so quickly.
Wise Tip: Do not go with the monthly plan.
-Please choose a half-yearly or annual plan.
-Pay with Credit Card(if possible).
-Opted for the EMI of the same months as plan, with your bank.
The calculation of this tip:
See, the Amount is too less and the speed is double.
Now, you don't have the amount 4999 to pay in one shot. I have the same issue, so, what I did?
I paid with my ICICI Credit Card and convert this amount 4999 into 9-months EMI and will pay to bank 594 per month.
You also can do this with any bank's card. There is only one condition that the amount transaction amount should be above Rs. 3000.
