Awful Experience on BA

Where do I begin ...?


The first flight we (my husband, my son and me) took on BA was from Delhi to London. The flight attendants were absolutely awful. We asked for 2 glasses of water. The attendant came with one. When we told him again that we wanted 2 glasses, he demanded why we didn't tell him at the first instance since he would have to go back again to get another glass ! The food was cold and tasteless. We thought maybe we had just been unlucky with the first flight.


The next BA flight was from London to Paris. As usual, food (what lttle they served) was cold and forgetable. The service on the flight was terrible.


The next was from Zurich to Scotland via London Heathrow. Don't ever take this flight as the flight from Zurich to London ends at Terminal 1 and the one from London to Edinburgh is from Terminal 4. BA coolly announces in a brochure that it will take you about 75 minutes to reach Terminal 4 from 1 and believe me they are not exagerating. Finally after an adventure, you reach Terminal 4. And as usual, the service on the flight is awful, but by this time we have learnt not to expect anything/ ask for anything. Just sit tight and pray that your flight ordeal is over as early as possible. They actually served us a bar of muesli (!!!!) on that flight apart from tea/coffee.


The next flight we took was from Scotland to Delhi via London. Again the same old story - this time, we had to go from Terminal 4 to Terminal 1.


The 9 hour flight from London to Delhi was a nightmare. First, none of our 3 TVs worked. When we complained, they gave us 2 seats right at the back and said sorry, take it or leave it. The food was as usual horrible. The bread was so tough that one could play cricket with it. The rest of the food was cold and equally bad. The flight attendants were a shame in the name of hospitality. They were rude, unresponsive and should be grounded immediately.


And guess what ?? The BA India website does not have any place to accept complaints / feedback while this feature is very much there in the UK and US sites !!!! So, I went ahead and complained on the UK site and they obviously have not bothered to reply.


So, Indians steer clear from BA. Our IA is a million times better..............
