Hello everybody I would like share my observations ( or rather concerns) about Bangalorenot as a visitor but as a resident of 40 years. I am staying in Bangalore because there are no other options for me.
You wont be wrong if you call Bangalore most hyped up city on this planet. You are taxed highset in this city and everything is very expensive. Road tax you pay when you buy a vehicle (highest) is for parking and roaduse right? Wrong you have parking charges wherever you park the vehicle except inside your house.Apart from this you pay cess on fuel(highest again) you buy. Apart from buses there is no other means of public transport.
There has been talk of mass rapid transit system , circular railway, monorail and metro rail for about 20 years but nothing will happen.
Then there are contraptions called autorikshaws . God save Bangalore from them. They remove their silencers and fit local ones which make so much noise , probably half the Bangalore is already deaf. There is no one who can question them and they are lords of Bangalore Roads. Why govt is so lenient on them nobody knows.
Since majority people are from outside they are afraid to protest against them. Mumbai has better mobility compared to Bangalore.
Bangalore is behaving like as if there is no tommorow and bubble will burst before long.
