Well as usual Mr. Manager's promise was a white lie. I'm currently going through the same pain. Below are my complaint lodged on one of the review sites: Hi, I am one more victim of THE MOBILE STORE in Bangalore. I purchased one Sony Xperia Mini Pro SK17i a couple of years ago (Purchase Date:... 08/01/2012) with a paid extended warranty of one year. My phone got some issues and needed a fix. I went to see the store and they made me run from pole to post... from Sony service station (in spite of knowing that it is their job as the company warranty is expired and handset is in extended warranty period) to various stores in Bangalore. Finally at the store where I purchased the mobile they did accept my mobile for servicing and gave me one hand written and signed receipt. They asked for 25 working days time to get the mobile serviced (which I believe is too much time for such service) but there is no sign of my mobile yet where it has been one and half month since I handed over my mobile to them (Handset handover date: 31/10/2013). Whenever I go to the mobile store they give me some or other weird reason and ask me to come later without even committing a fixed time to handover my mobile back to me. I am extremely frustrated with them and highly recommend everyone to stay away from 'The Mobile Store'. I also have Galaxy Duos which heats up the same way to the extent that we use speaker phone for any conversation longer than a couple of minutes. And the best part is that the speakers are one of the worst quality I have ever seen in any mobile hand set. These guys are trying to compete with Apple b...ut they can't even reach near only because of their attitude towards customers... this is the basic differentiator.Read More

I’ve already started the process of MNP for other airtel mobile numbers in my family (there are total 4 numbers and we are shifting all), appl...ied for closure of their broadband data card service, propagating as much negative comments against them as possible among my friends, relatives and social circle. If you also do the same and then more and more people join this process very soon these buggers will come on right track as they will feel that how important customers are and they can’t take us for granted.Read More

I was an airtel BB customer and then we shifted house and asked them to cancel the connection. At that time they told us that they will transfer the connection at our new address and convinced us not to cancel the connection. They took almost 4 months to tell us that because of some technical proble...ms they will not be able to transfer the connection and now we have to pay for all those months for which that so called connection was unused... more to this they internally closed the account but their bill meter kept running. Then their recovery department guys started calling us and then one day they asked me to pay Rs.1000 against the total bill of approx Rs1900 to settle the account which I paid last month. Today all of sudden their so called advocate (not sure even if it was an advocate or some of their actors from recovery department) called me and said either I pay Rs.1853 or face court case. They harassed me so much that I left from my office and went to shitty airtel office where they don't have any justification on Rs.1000 I paid and forced me to pay Rs.1853. When I asked for full and final settlement letter they asked me to send request mail for that to 121@airtel.in which I sent and they have not reverted back yet. I am not sure if these buggers will harass me again. We (customers) made these buggers a brand and they easily forgot this and hopefully now the time is coming when they will realize how we can show them their right place. I've 3 other airtel services with me which I am going to get closed very very soon. I am doing my bit and request all the readers of this review to help ourselves and show these buggers their right place. Chrisanth, my sincere empathy for you. My refrigerator got fixed only after I contacted Deputy Managing Director of Samsung India Mr. Ravinder Zutshi. The most unfortunate part of this entire episode though was that I was forced to contact an officer like Mr. Zutshi for this small cause which must h...ave been handled at their customer care level. It's better if Samsung learns something from this otherwise they are going to lose their customer base big time. I also hope that they punish the concerned non-efficient employees who forced me to escalate my issue to Mr. Zutshi so others can learn. If you ever get such issues anyways with Samsung my experience says that try to reach out to some officer at real high level.Read More
