@josy..... ’’As you sow,so you reap’’.You might have heard it. For your kind information ,i am student of one of the top engineering college in India, which is considered to be on par with IITs. I am proud of technological improvement done by indian companies like Bajaj, because they at least... help India in making progress further. Also Research and development necessarily seeks to provide high quality product at cheaper rates.Otherwise it is not successful. And about who started it, every one can see who started this’’who lets the dog out ’’ game. So ,sorry Msians,i didn’t want to indulge in this crap game, but people force one to do so. Read More

@josythomas “Regarding the treatment received at service centers, no offence, pig-like customers get treated that way... ;) The service people at Yamaha were open and friendly and did their job well. “ This statement of yours tells volumes about your self respect and respect for other gladiat...or owners .If service centre is not good then customer is pig like and will be treated like pig. Dear gladiator owners see what one of your friend thinks about you. Well I think all XCD owners are prince like, which ride cheetah and are treated like prince at bajaj service centres.. Features of XCD 135 - 5 speed gearbox, front disc brake, digital tachometer, electric start, aerodynamic engine cowl, adjustable nitrox rear shocks, alloy wheels, rear wider tyre, 11 ps engine,70-75 kmpl mileage, awesome pick up,0 to 60 in less than 6 secs, actual top speed of 110 kmph (that too without much engine vibration), retractable front as well as rear foot rests, balanced chassis for great cornering and handling . All this for an ex-showroom price of around 42K. On road you can get the XCD for around 46-50K depending on the locality. And note the point that all the features mentioned above is standard on the XCD 135.Do you still think gladiator is better value for money. Read More

@josythomas Wonderful reply. Seemed as if someone has kept feet on dog’s tail I would like to know the way you feel after some time being deceived by yamaha by having this bike, because after some time this bike will start crying even in crossing mopeds on the road. After all this is one of th...e worst bike in 125 cc segment. Tauras excretum(Bull shit), that is the term I can use for this yamaha bike specially made for India.Yamaha even after doing all sort of advertisements could not sell its market, because finding one fool is easy, but so many will follow you is difficult. We all know that few Indians have illicit Japanese blood running in them, which makes them fall for eating even excretum(shit)given by Japanese in the name of it being Japanese. Speaking about the quality. That’s really funny. You can expect your analog dash as well as your tail lamp to break very soon as we usually see on Yamahas. Last good bike that yamaha gave to India was RX 100 and it remaind so even now. By the way for your information bajaj takes good care of its customers and gives 50000 kms/5 years as the warranty. So when your bike will out of warranty and you will be weeping alone in a corner then I will come to console you.May be then you will understand why you should not lick the rear of Japanese. If you think you can compare Bajaj and Yamaha in Indian context, then answer will be Bajaj really gives great bikes as far as Indian scene is concerned.Except than RX 100,Yamaha could not understand Indian scene completely and have always come up with crap bikes which few of the idiots take and then try to convince every one to take it.Read More

@josygthomas I would rather say if you might have tried XCD 135 earlier, you could have never even considered Gladiator. Yes,Yamaha never could sell gladiator in the way XCD is being accepted everywhere.I could see half of my institute's friends use XCD 135.Gladiator is just another commuter. ... Quality on Yamaha bikes are worse than Bajaj bikes specially in 125 cc category and service centers treat customer like pigs. Not only the spares are costly, but also service charge is double of that Bajaj. Valur for money means bajaj bikes and especially XCD 135 is awesome.Gladiator or any other bike is not even comparable to it in offering the goodies, pick up,top speed etc...........list is very long. XCD 135 is great in its segment and the technology is new and fresh, not like yamaha which gives average bikes to India on expensive prices. That is why it can give a mileage like this.I calculated my mileage reserve to reserve and tank empty to tank full and that too several times. About looks any day it looks far better and modern than old and outdated looking Galdiator. The digital goodies make it look very classy and gladiator can be compared to bajaj platina in looks at most. You have life's worst decision by buying Yamaha gladiator. That too you are trying to make others take the same decision.Read More

XCD 135 is the best value for money bike in 125-135 cc category.Stunner is just for looks, and the price is high as compared to the performance.

@kill_aveng Thanks for your comment.Yup riding together is fun!!!. @all.rounder, Thanks for liking my review.Actually that situation is not going to arise, because this bike is monster hit,and selling more than 20000 bikes per month. Also bajaj is good in availing spare parts and the cost of ...spare parts are less than cost of HH and Honda spare parts.Read More
