Hi Rasheed. Rear leg space is fine for average (5'8') people. Front seats can be moved towards front to get more leg space (front seats have enough leg space). Thanks Ramana

continuation ............... My accessories as follows JVC DVD,USB player Sony Xplod 4 speakers Roof top 7' LCD Minda security system Cigarette lighter connection Lather seats Floor mats Wheel covers Mud flaps Teflon coating (After 1st servicing) Underbody coating (After 1st... servicing) Car cover etc for Rs.35000. I had to spend almost a day there, went in the morning at 11:00 and came back home evening at 7:00 pm. I got JVC head unit fixed in my car, it is DVD, USB and Divx player. Mega audio 7’’ LCD on roof top doing pretty good. Audio comes through 4 Sony xplod speakers fixed on 4 doors. Speakers are performing well. I didn’t go for tray or woofer box as it will eat up the boot space. This is my 3rd car but 1st new car. Earlier I had Maruti van and Tata Sierra, both pre owned vehicles. But I enjoyed Sierra verymuch. It gives you the feeling like you are the king of the road. No 7 seaters and auto rikshaws come in your way while driving this beast. Its suspension and bad road handling is superb. I had to sell it as the vehicle was getting older and older.Read More

P220 beats R15 in city or highway while spending about 20K less.

I agree with reviewer. He is 100% right. I know our Indian mentality (most of us). We simply believe in the brand, instead of the actual product. That is why most of the Japanese/world manucturers are introdusing outdated and high priced products to India. Toyota came to India with their world flop ...model Qualis. Chevrolet with outdated diesel engine in Tavera, now Yamaha, with R15 with its high price. Just think practically and logically. All these R15 features (Fuel Injection, Deltabox Frame (200% more rigidity), Monocross suspension, Dual discs, full fairing and a Yamaha brand name dont come cheap) are good to see on paper. in practical, it will add very littive value, if you compare with its price . After all its just 150CC and 17BHP but costs 1.1L. You can beat it with Karizma or P220 or even with P200 easily, by spending 20K - 35K less, then none of the above features come in to picture coz they always look good on paper particularly for this bike and few want to spend based on these paper features without considering whether they are actually handy on the bike or not. I'm not against new technology like Fuel injection, duel discs...etc they are essential on bikes like R1 or any other power bikes but not a 150CC bike like R15. My point is, these features add very little value to R15 and because of these useless (yes absolutely useless to R15 particularly at this cost) features its costing 1.1L otherwise it should have priced around 65K. its just 41% overpriced, beware. If Yamaha add all these extra features and price the bike around 75k(Max) to compete other bikes in india, it would have been better. Or Yamaha should increae the engine power 250CC/25bhp (some where around these figures) with all the above features and price it around 115K. In my view R15 fits no where. My request to all please dont buy anything just based on the brand or features on paper, Check personally whether they are really handy/worthy.Read More

Hi Hari, Please go ahead and test drive a Spark, if you are not okay with it look for alternatives. In my experience what I observed is, we need to see the vehicle physically, feel it and experience it by test driving, then only we come to know whether its suitable for us or not. So, please go ahe...ad and test drive one.Read More

Hi Javeed, Thanks for the response. May be you are right, but I compared these cars based on my budget. As I mentioned, my budget is around Rs.3.5L, so, Alto was my 1st preference and I like its shape, reliability and fuel efficiency, but I was not at all satisfied by its performance (I need AC).... Then went to Hyundai showroom and tested Santro which is Rs.3.75L on road, just 25k above my budget. Then we came to know spark is matching with Santro interms of performance and costing just Rs.3.25L onroad. I should have tested Zen estilo and Wagon R also but, I dont like those models at all, so, I never considered them. Alto, Santro and Spark are my preferred cars (in my list) based on my budget Rs.3.5L onroad.Read More

All the dealers (mainly in india) are mainly concern with sales. once they sell their product they wash their hands with some branded detergent. I've come across many cases where customers completely dissatisfied with many dealers (of all brands). There should be a process where customer can control... these kind of stupid dealers.Read More
