Obviously buddy, if you have taken the loan you have to pay EMIs otherwise bank has right to take action against you. Forget about HDFC, if you write the same letter to any bank to give you 4 months break to pay EMI coz your financial situation is not good, they'll give you same reply (Or may be mor...e harsh).
