Hi, I disagree with some of the facts that you have given. I agree on the fuel econmy part.ALto gives more milage. Let me tell you what I feel about the rest 1. weight and stability. Your view on weight of the car making it slow is not correct. You need to look into bhp/tonne ratio to... findout if the car is quicker or not. If you look at it this way then xeta is faster than an alto but not as fast as Santro. YOu mentioned about taking a turn at 50 km/hr .Have you ever tried that on an alto or a wagon r? Wagon R is the scariest followed by Alto.Xeta is much more stable compared to an Alto or a wagon R Warrenty: Rules of warrenty are same everywhere.You add an accessory and your warrenty is void.Its the same for maruti and hyundai.WIth Hyundai they make a note on their system that you have made some changes and after thsi you cannot take the car to a different service station also to claim warrenty.Also have you ever nooticed what all is covered under warrenty? Tata includes all parts including the parcel tray inside cabin. Ask for same warrenty from maruthi and they will laugh at you. Let me just give you a bare fact.This car is more refined than an Alto and more stable than a wagon R and Santro Its gives you Great VFM. I am telling this because I am using a xeta, Alto , Swift and a verna. When ever I need to go to a place which does not have a proper ROAD , I always rely on xeta and it has never let me down. Also regarding the braking and ECU issues that you have mentioned and also the charges that TATA service charged , you need to enquire with other TATA service centers or even send an email to TATA customer support.I believ the Dealer is taking you for a ride.I have never spent more than 3k on any of my services for Xeta except for the 50K service.Read More

In your review you have said that TATAs should have changed the shape of indica and you have compared it with ford,hyndai and MARUTI??Ford and Hyundai is fine with design part.But what about maruti?They have been usng the same design for esteem.800,zen for more than 12 yrs!!.Once in a while they wil...l add some new stickers to the car and will call it limited edition!!The only new release from maruti has been teh swift and the new zen that will be launched next week. Hi, I also dont quite agree with what you have said.The safari engine comes from the 407 block and it not the spacio engine.I have driven it and tata has done a lot of improvement.The only concern was that the RPM redlines at 3000 and I feel that the car is much more capable . Swift- Mismanagement at its best

I booked the swift on may 27 and got the delicery on the jun 13 which was the date told by the dealer.I believe dealers have got to do a lot with it.Make sure that the dealer is not selling the cars to different clients for a premium. I have purchased a swift on june 13th and have till now finished 900 kms in it..I feel that comfirtability and perfomance is way better than getz and sail.I had a getz for a couple of weeks and was not impressed with its perfomance except for the space.The rear space in getz is more than that of sw...ift but the comparsion ends there.Swift much better even with its modified esteem engine..Read More

Well a good review on SUMO.IS it about the new SUMO that is available? I have been in on of the NEW SUMO EZ+ with a turbo engine and it was a lot more comfirtable even than the qualis.I believe TATAS have made a lot of improvements in the new one.
