Well writtn..... has all de right amount f details n first hand Xprnce.... De mileage f ur bike will improve n it shud go upto 53kmpl to 55kmpl with ease.... I bought her (ALL Black) on 30th APRIL ' 06... Today after two servicingz she returns 54kmpl to 55kmpl...hv dun 2700kms... no probz till nw...... 'Apache’s mileage is 60+ and P-180 gives around 35' ....Well maan,. u've gt sum real BIG misconceptionz out here bout d P180... Mileage f P180 IS NOT 35KMPL... U'll find lotz f P180zz tht giv a mileage of 55+KMPL... Mine iz one f dem...Done jst 2500kms,.. Hmmm ... :) Well, a gud revu... It seemz u've added most f ur Xprncz wid ur P180 ... Howevr... My P180 performz a bit diffrnt...mayb coz its d New Verzion... Mileage if I ride @40kmpl CONSTANT ... she returnzzzz 63kmpl (its hard to believe na..??) bt once u move above 55kmph or 60kmph ...I gt 54 km...pl to 58kmpl ...gud though... Hi der buddy,.... nice review... It seems to me tht u've put in all the honest xperiencz... n in no way did I feel(while readin ur review) tht u hated d bike badly...Good... Thtz d spirit. I dnt feel baad tht u sold ur P180..:) aftr all choicez differ.... I own a P180 too... I've dun 2500kms now... ...n havnt facd a singl prob(tchwud)... Mileage is alwayz 55+kmpl...Gearbox is smooth...no falz neutralzz...Electrclzzz r gud... Brakezzz r excellnt... no skiddin...handlngz tooo gud... I dnt indulge myslf into dragzzz ...n thtz smply coz I luuuuv ma bike... Shockerz r Xcllnt.. Well I wud like to kno Y u didnt opt for d Pulsarz... 150 / 180. They r really gud. They wer definitelt nt tht gud a few yearz ago(d first versions). Bt today... d bike iz jst amazng. NO really.... I mean... I hated the Pulsarz like hell... Bt now I own a P180. Thtz because... there hav been numerou...s changes iin the bike whch hav enhanced it to a very high extent... makin it a REAL ALL TIME PERFORMER. May it b d city or the zooming highway...Read More

Hey manu, damn good review... U've got exactly all d points which evn I had xperienced during ma 6 testridesz on d APACHE... Thts why I went for d P180. U're damn right abt the shockerz.., n d headlight beam and Vibraz n UNICORN... I thnk we've got d same Obsevation n learning skillz... Hah... Well... d fuel tank of the newer versions of Pulsar hav been reduced a bit in size... I mean the bulge tht waz cloz to our sacs has been reduced... n thts for good. :D U'll get a gud mileage on d APACHE... bt u'll hav to compensate for d shockers and the exhaust note... Congratz... :D. Newz for u too. I too hav finishd almost 1700kms on ma new P180(fear d black). Now d mileage figur is 61kmpl. A M A Z I N G na. I wz stunned. Also the pikups mch bettr now. The exhaust note has become bulkier jst as u hav mentioned. Now I cn feel the power right thru the throttle its...elf. Not a single problm as yet. Gears r smood, elctrcls r good. It rockets effrtlessly past evry1 :D Also past d Buswallahz ... hehe

April end, I got a P180 too, and its all black(fear the black). Gud to hear tht u r gettinn upto 52kmpl in city riding conditions, although I m nt surprised coz my 180 iz givin me 55kmpl constant in d city. Now arent WE LUCKY ???Best till now waz 57kmpl and worst waz 46kmpl. And as compared to the p...ower the engine deliverz dis kinda mileage iz jst AMAZING. Who n why wud anybdy wanna hav d ZMa, izn it ?? :D

Well, I weigh 64kgs. Its only during deep turns that I loose confidence (sumwhat) on a Pulsar. I do not sit upclose to the tank, but more in a relaxed 'leaning over the handle' posture. Anywayz its nt an issue for me. The weight : height : width of the tryes ratio of this bike in particular helps ...get her quickly in control. Bt I better be careful on wet roadz.... :D Once the front stock tyre wears off I'll fit in a fatter one (jst a bit fat, mayb like the one tht APACHE has) n thn lets see how it goezzzzz.....Read More

Well, it seems tht u dont own an Apache. U've said that 'the launch is yet to happen'. My dear, the APACHE has been launched since Gudi Padwa thats almost 2 months now. U also mentioned tht Apache will give other bikes like Pulsar , a ride for money ????? What waz tht ???? Buddy... I've got a Pulsar 180V2 n u know what, its givin me a mileage of 57kmpl CONSTANT iin city conditionz Well Apache might giv a better mileage thn P180 bcoz Apache is a 150cc bik. But Pulsarz mileage is nt bad. Depends on how u ride it... Many Pulsar 150 v2 owners are getting a 60+ mileage. Worst mileage on my P180 till now is 46kmpl and best is 59kmpl(Believe it or Not) On d other hand, d Apache vibrates too much... The Pulsar V2 twins giv a powerful n growling yet decent exhaust note. I waz disappointed by Apachez exhaust. Also Apache'z engine makes a lot of clattering noises. Nt as smooth and refined as Fiero F2. Finally, choices differ.....

I waz goin to mention a lot abt curving d bike, in my 2nd review of d P180. But since the u guyz hav already come up wid it, let me share abt it, now itself. I've dun 1300kms on my P180(all black) and while curving @50kmph / 70kmph (approx) I felt the front end a bit thin. I mean... I felt that I hav no more rubber left to tilt it more. The front tyre shud've been little bit fatter. I feel that, when curvin evn at theze speeds the weight f d bike tends to be felt more in the front (specially while curvin) and I get a feelin that this weight is not being handled gud by the frnt tyre, needs more muscle in d frnt. Try curving an Apache or a Bullet@ same speed n then curv a P150v2/180v2 at d same speed n angle, thn mayb u'll know undrstnd wat I felt. The rear end of P180v2/P150v2 is awesum n fat enough for a gud grip, bt I think it shud be shouldered well by a bettr front. Isnt it ??? Wat du u guyz think ????
