Hi brothers,
this is my second review on P180V2. i've done almost 11,000kms in 8 months on my blue black combi machine now and trust me, the performance only gets better.
the creeks and hitches I had initially with her are now just history.
few things I do to keep the machine in her best and I thought must be shared:
. get used to periodic services as per the manual as it gives you waranty claim if something goes wrong, and not to mention, you are happy if your machine is happy.
. make it a habbit to kick start the machine for the first start of the day. this will give your electro start a longer life.
. dont change the type of fuel every time you go for a fill. if you are feeding her with speed petrol regularly,well and good,otherwise if used to unleaded, continue doing the same.
. proper gear shifting practice will definitely keep the engine and the transmission in best condition.i've seen some disgusting nerds putting tons of loads on the clutch at the lowest RPMs just becuz of too lazy to down shift the gears.DONT DO THAT.
. the brakes are going to be an important part of your joyride so keep them updated.and dont apply front brakes on sharp turns or you end up licking the road. I had it twice.. experience counts.
. get the tyre pressure checked regularly in every 500 approx kms becuz they play a major role in your ride handling. you will have faster wear and tear if not taken care.
. the P180V2 already have those gorgeous looks that it dos'nt need a modification, but still a change of tyre or larger chain sproket is permisable, but never try to change the engineering of the machine.she is just not gona take it.
and dont forget to wear a helmet cuz you gota be living for more.
am pretty sure that there are lot more things which you guys know better than me about keeping your machine in the best, so please do share some of them with me.
