thats true shailesh, due to the heavy weight swift remains stable on the road on high speeds n you can easily obtain d speed of 160km/hr, thnks to the Fiat 1.3 MJD & Direct Diesel injection System i.e. DDiS

first of all I would like to tell you that Hyundai i10 & i20 both are not having the same engine, i10’s specification is Displacement: 1086 cc, In-line, 4 cylinder
Engine Type: Petrol, Maximum Power: 65 Bhp @ 5500rpm, Maximum Torque: 101 Nm @ 2800 rpm
while i20’s specification is Displacemen...t: 1197cc, 4 Cyl, 16 Valve, Kappa, Engine Type: Petrol, Maximum Power: 79 Bhp @ 5200 rpm,
Maximum Torque: 114 Nm @ 4000 rpm
if you are a daily runner then i would suggest you to go for an oil burner rather than petrol. n now there are loads of varieties available in Indian market from the range of 3.50 to 6.50 lakh. range. you can also think about Fiat Punto which is also a strong contender & carries the same 1.3 MJD engine which Swift does, Chevy is also launching Beat in Diesel variant, MSIL is launching new swift in Aug 2011so there are loads of varieties to choose from.
but if you want both sturdiness & mileage, low maintenance then opt for Swift diesel n if u can stress your budget go for ABS variant.Read More

ya you should definitely go for TD of the car & if possible do also take the TD of Punto, Figo then you can compare between these cars and i am sure you will definitely opt for Swift
