My name is Nilesh, I bought Mahindra Rodeo in Dec. 2010. It has good looks & comfortable, The digital meter gives extra stylish shade to the rodeo which is first in its class. it has an excellent ride quality, The Mahindra Rodeo is a 125cc four-stroke automatic scooter.
This scooter has an 8 bhp engine which has a maximum speed of 80 kmph. Electric starter is standard, and the Rodeo has a unique telescopic suspension in the front (motorcycle-like). Fuel tank capacity is 4.5 liters – enough for a scooter in this class.
The Mahindra Rodeo weighs 106kgs.Rodeo is light weight compared Activa, access, pleasure, Deo. Unique features are an all-digital display speedo unit which includes an tachometer, trip meter, acceleration timer, overspeed alarm, fuel gauge and a clock which is a first for a scooter. There is also a side-stand warning indicator and an anti-theft key guard. Designed and developed by SYM of Taiwan Its true that all gear less scooters gives mileage of 35-40 but rodeo is worst in it. Rodeo is a Thirsty Donkey, Rodeo gives mileage of only 28-30 kmpl which is very disappointing.
I am using Honda activa since last 2 & half years but Activa is steady in mileage Activa gives me mileage of 42kmpl which is really good for a gear less scooter. So my advice to all the people who are willing to buy this vehicle go for this vehicle only if you dont care about the mileage, because I think now days where fuel price has gone so much in the air that mileage will be main criteria for the 2 wheeler hunters.
