Hey ramana, sorry i just saw yur post. I think you should check with sony india helpline. They will guide you best as to what you have to do, consumer court looks like a hassle to me.

Well I think there need to be some fact findings here. I own an electronics s tore in Mumbai, and I know for sure that the panel costs most among all things in a LCD TV and if it has a problem then there i very little that u can do to save repair costs. I ace such customers every day, but this is tr...ue for all brands and all products including cameras, phones etc. Try searching for consumers from other brands as well, you will read similar expereinces.Read More
