so since oil leaked from your bike, you gave it no recco.I think your's is one of the exceptions.otherwise my bike is already 2 years old.I have never faced this problem.

Hey Jeet, Nice to know that you own this bike.but this review is so short, try explaining more and put more experience in the review. I too agree with you. at signals,i have won several races, and till 80 even pulsar 200 can't give avenger much trouble.

Well friend,my experience might be useful for you.The self start of avenger is higly reliable.I have never faced any problems .This is because of non maintanence battery used by Bajaj. As far as putting gear in neutral is concerned, while taking the delivery ask the showroom mechanics, they will give a... proper demo. For me finding neutral has been always easy. For me city mileage has always been around 40,and highways figures are 50+.But for that u have to keep your bike well maintaned.Read More

What was this review.Seems a deliberate attempt to malign a great bike.Well you seem to have a grudge against Bajaj. No problem. But do not ever write in my review, becuase i hate my review getting spamed.from now onwards better for you keep away.

@sarkaar Thanks for praising the review.Ignition position is at a position to give your back good stretching exercises. BTW I am Rajiv Bajaj,MD of Bajaj(at least for you) doin time pass here. For others i am still a simple rider who loves his bike.

Hmmm.If you drive it on highways then there is no way that you can deny the temptation to make it yours.About trust on bajaj bikes,i wud just say, bajaj bikes are very reliable like any others. Well thanks for your comments and happy riding.

@sarab1232, Actually new bikes like Fz 16 ,Pulsars, all are coming without kick start.Battery is pretty reliable in Avenger 200 especially being a maint free one.

Hi Anil,I m doing good, hope u r fine also.Nice to know that u made your mind to join the league of bikers. Chrome on any bike is susceptible to rust if not taken due care. Due care means not leaving it unattended for months. One should atleast use a cloth once a week with little water to clean it... properly. This much is sufficient.See it is good for your bike as a whole also becuse it shines after this much care only nd you fel connected to it. About mine facing this problem, initially i didn't care much hence my silencer started rusting after some 9 months, but once is started cleaning it properly,it has not recurred. Remedy to solve this problem is removing the rust and then applying any good polish which keeps it protected. When go for service you can ask service people to do teflon coating or can do it at home yourself. @Aditya316, Avenger and P200 has got the same engine and same oil cooler also. But it has been tuned for relaxed driving and stress free gearing on Avenger. Due to oil cooler engine heating is very less on Avenger baring initial days.I love going on long hauls without any hesitation.I haven't f...aced oil leakage issues on Avenger.Read More

Hey nicely written, though based on one ride. But i have some feedback from my 2-3 friends, who say not so good on highways, because after 75-80 the bike seems out of steam.Though city riding is really delightful, they say not so good weekend bike.

Though i agree with most of your points, but it is not true that this bike is only for shorter people.I am 5'10' myself,if you will go through reviews you will find that many of them are 6' or more.Actually cruisers are meant for all size of people, and a well built person with good height looks reall...y great on the cruiser.Thousands of riders in west who ride cruisers are very tall. But cruisers there also are same in height and other proportions.Read More

@rifas, lots of queries from you!!!!!!!!! Well eliminator was past of the avenger, and has been long discontinued.Avenger 180 came after eliminator and has also been discontinued.Avenger 200 is the only available model as of now.It doesn't have a kickstart.Electric start is pretty reliable, and ...now most of the bikes are coming without a kick start. In cold season, just give choke and it will start easily. And would like to tell again 'only 200cc is available from company'.But Eliminator and 180 cc with kickstart are available in secondhand condition from any current owner. So decide based on your needs.Read More

I think ,i am answering you for second time. Frankly speaking yes,it is very reliable. The bike happily starts in the rainy season, even after getting wet for hours in the rain. I leave my bike several times in rain deliberately, for getting it cleaned. The thing is that the zero maintenance batt...ery used for the electric start makes it one push happy. My earlier 180 version had a kick start.200 lacks it.But till date i am happy with the way it starts in one push after getting wet in rains or in winter. Read More

Hey rifas.I am doing good.Hope u r fine also. Suitability of avenger is good for tall people,as i know persons with height of 6'4' driving avenger and enjoying it.Engine noise is not harsh,it is encouraging to drive and remains the same even after years.Rusting problem occurs if you don't take go...od care of the chrome parts of avenger.Spokes according to my experience are good.Safety wise it is very good bike. But if you want to buy it for driving rash, then u might opt some Pulsar, coz avenger is cruiser and though it is fast,it is for fast and mature driving .Read More

Nice review mate.I liked it from ab initio to the end. The vibration in the handlebar can be due to some loose nuts or bolts on the handlebar itself. Some days back on friend of mine facing the same problem asked me about it.I advised him to go to pbk service people. They fixed the problem by tight...ening the nuts and bolts and it was gone.Read More

Excellent review buddy.I am impressed with the virtues that this bike offers for its price.I myself tried this bike as one of my cousin got it 2 months back.Though in running in period,he allowed me to race it and i myself clocked a 105 kmph on this bike on highway.Really good work from Bajaj. Lo...ng term standing is still to be tested.Read More
