Seriously? Your weight?! What has Honda got to do with that? You should've asked them, what if I were lighter? The bike would probably refuse to start! You should have reminded them to mind their own business and asked them to fix the issue rather than just refer to the 'service manual' every work...shop has. The problem lies with the service centre technicians, they think they own the company. Each of them having their own 'ideals' on how to deal with the problem. Often, the customer has to bear the brunt of it. I have faced similar problems with my Active 125, my bike was stalling as soon as I let go of the accelerator. To me, it seemed like an issue with 'idling', so I asked them to get it fixed, but there as no use as they increased the idle so much that the bike would refuse to stop! Its as risky! Turns out, some technician, who worked on the bike earlier during its routine service had tampered with the exhaust valve, resultant of which the bike was stalling. It had nothing to do with the idling, which was perfect. A local mechanic was able to diagnose it and fix it. Till date, my Active hasn't developed any issue. Something which the Honda guys simply cannot comprehend. Their service sucks, big time. I hope, this is useful and I would request you to go to a trusted mechanic and tell him the issue, I am sure, they will be able to fix it for you. The accessories on the bike are pathetic, I don't remember my rear view mirrors ever pointing in the same direction! The switches are of poor quality and the trip meter button has refused to work (again). I guess a TVS Jupiter is a much better option in terms of efficiency and features. Regards, Sidd.Read More

Thank You all. @rajiv22 - I guess its the service center guys who probably ruined the car for your uncle's friend. VW has a plant a huge plant in Pune. Their models do get sold in India and are exported too! Pune, for its size, i'd say has 3-4 dealers with good customer service from the one I purch...ased the car from.. B. U. Bhandari Volkswagen! Anyway, happy driving! I am sure the Elantra is pampering you well!Read More

I own a Polo Comfortline 1.2 Petrol for a year and half now. The journey of 20, 000km thus far has been great, with its ups and downs, however, Volkswagen has been up to the mark to support its customers! I live in Pune and as any other city in India, the traffic is getting worse! I am a seda...Read more

Hey, quite neat. I would only disagree with you in terms of the suspension. Its quite sporty and hard, unlike for a quick city jaunt. Quite on the harder side to say the least.

34, 000km Update: Well, over the years, one thing that has remained up to the mark for the Fazer is its build quality. I must say, Yamaha have put in great efforts to improve the Fazer over the months, however, I ride the 1st version, which also has been riding steadily without any fusses abo...Read more

I am really sorry to hear about you new TV! Did you purchase it from a Samsung gallery or from a electronic store with many chains all over the city? What would be nice in such a case is, if the service technician, who deals with the TV, since he knows the fault, should walk up to the place of purch...ase, exchange the product asap, and the complete the formalities of returning the old unit back to the company. At least the customer's are not beating around the bush for the same reason and there is much less delay in the process! So much for customer service, i hope these electronic giants are listening..Read More

cool review, planning to buy the SX-IS soon, your review helped a great deal.. However, how long do the AA batteries last in this camera? Was a bit worried about that. If you could reply with your experience on that.

@ vianika : True indeed, bike has its run in period, however, not a bad thing to keep a track of your bike's mileage right from day 1 is it? Helps in the long run. Moreover, bikes with the base engine supplied by HMSI, (Unicorn and HH's) have such a beautiful engine that if you ride it peacefully,... the transition between the run-in period till the time engine opens up, is smooth. So definitely not a bad idea keeping an eye on mileage from day one.Read More
