First to start with the reason of buying this bike:

I had a Pulsar 150 before this.Loved it.My friend through my studies and in times of bindaas masti. Was with me for more than 4 years bearing all the torture I set it through.(In college lots of people learn on other's bikes, screwing the bike in the meantime).

After started working wanted to switch to something high end, leaving my old love in custody of my bro.

When first time I planned to visit Bajaj show room to see the higher cc bikes, i had my eyes stuck on this beauty.I was awestruck with the naked street fighter looks of this bike.It has an appeal which makes you a hooligan from the word go.

I didn't try HH bikes because all the HH bikes over 100 CC are overpriced, and poor when compared in terms of VFM and outright performance.

Engine is ultimately powerful with 18 BHP of output and 17.17 Nm torque.Gives you such an adrenalin rush that it is hard to keep it below 70 kmph.So I had a tough time during the runnin in period.Every time after crossing the speed limit , i used to be worried about the engine life. But after nearly 18770 kms of running and 1.5 years of experience do I have any qualms!!!!! No, because it still drives me insane every time I ride it through city, on highway, on uphill stretches. Maintanence wise this bike or for that reason any Bajaj bike is very cheap, because of cheaper spare parts.

Though the bike is very reliable according to my experience.I hardly spent any of my weekends in service centre except the service time , contrary to what suggested by few people on MS. I sometime found it very strange when I read reviews on Mouthshut falsely spreading negative things about Bajaj bikes. My max speed on this bike has been speedo indicated 128 kmph.Didn't dare to go beyond that. But felt as if more can be done. In city, None can catch you while driving except than the obviously elder P220, that too after a good fight. It easily does 0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds.Mileage in city is 40+.

On highway the real fun begins.Riding at 100+ is fun really.Good braking is always handful. The riding position and handling through corners is so delightful that you will love taking it through twisties.Driving sanely on highway can fetch mileage in excess of 50. Long drives are fun on this bike and though I have done 580km up and down in one day maximum, i know people who covered leh on this bike.I also dream of going on such a long ride.

On negative side, The large turning radius sometime causes problem, but most of the times one doesn't feel it.
