Exact same experience, you can read my review on this list earlier, i thought am being cheated royally for the money invested. After the admin charges my money wasnt even worth the single payment that i made. And people have told that i didnt pay enough attention to the terms and conditions and yes ...it is and no one even highlighted that the withdrawal cost would be so much, not the agent neither the company itself when i went for submitting the papers.Read More

Thanks for all the comments. I have clearly said -- 'The fault is also on my side as i didnt check with the reviews of this policy before investing and i totally believed on the customer rep that i can move out after 3 years'-- the fault was on my side that i didnt read the documents properly. But i... wasn't in india and i believed the agent before signing up and as said didnt review it before the 2 week revoking period. But overall when am reading the documents of the policy now and looking at the terms and conditions comparing my returns, even if i want to continue for another 10 years it is just useless. The reason being when the Market was bullish they claim the returns have dumped by 50% so if i have paid for 10 years up to 5 lac and assuming the markets remains the same without any surrendering charges if i get back my 5 lac (without any losses incurred) after 10 years, i dont think that is a investment plan.Read More

As most of them have said I invested in Aviva life-long ULIP 2 years back with an assurance that I can move out of it after 3 years with profit. I have already paid 2 years premium and last week called up to check my policy status and investment returns and to my horror and shock i was told my m...Read more

Like what Yorker had said earlier, i did invest in the lifelong ULIP plan. I did it during the boom times of the Stock market 2 years back and was told i can move out after 3 years with profit. When i called up last week to check for the status of the policy to my horror i had paid 1 lac (2 * 50,000...) and i am told my investment is now worth only 24,000. The fault is on my side as well as i was too keen to invest during that time without doing proper investigation about the policy and terms. But my sincere advice would be stay away from AVIVA ULIP.Read More
