I stumbled on Australia Networks Channel and was presently surprised at the quality of their shows. I really like their "Indian Schools" documentary which is very clean, unbiased look into our country systems. Yesterday I saw a program where they narrated a story of every kids dream in Ind...Read more

Hmmmm, each one has an opinion - each one has a different perception. Each one deals differently at a situation. Some dance in the rain, some curse at rain. If the road to rome sucks, you cannot say rome sucks - that was my point. But, jeez - name calling? ....there are better ways to communicat...e your point acrossRead More

You cannot compare apples and oranges. Customer service is not an Indian thing. You will never get it here. You will only get in western aping places, that too fake ones and not true ones. If you are from 'there' do you remember/know about 'soup nazi' episode on Seinfield? Then you understand the ...price of true taste. (I am not in anyway saying 'soup nazi' is a good thing) Good food don't need pretense or excuse. Its very indian thing - any old popular joints in Bangalore are similar (Vidyarthi bhavan, MTR, Goondappa hotel (for sweets), Brahmins Idli place (near shankar mutt)). These are like South West Airlines - no frills, just true taste, good food. Thanks to our population here - every thing seems cattle class here. Especially the popular joints. So lets not throw rotten tomatoes for wrong reasons. In which part of India doesn't a smelly flesh cut in front of you? You cannot blame restaurant for that? For this 2 feet space between you and smelly flesh - the five stars charge you 10 times. So why do we go ? for 2 sq feet space? Read More

I like the food here, but its bit pricey for regular every day lunch/dinner. And most of the bhajis are rich in masala. I prefer the new RAMS Kitchen on 8th/10th Cross near Dattatreya Temple (other side of Sampige Road - Vyallikaval). The ambiance at RAMS is not as good as Sai Shakthi though - n...o pretense simple foodRead More

I like my food simple, with less makeup (less masala), easy for stomach, easy on heart, easy on soul and easy on my purse. I always avoided eating North Indian Food in Bangalore. Couple of reasons, every place serve good rotis, parotas, but for some reason, they think that those healthy ro...Read more

Feb 3rd 11:30 a.m - I had finished visiting couple of clients and was hungry. I hadn't eaten since morning and my enzymes started knocking.
