I'm writing this review in response of someone's request. I think it was asking about which is the best team to watch in NBA. That is a question that depends on your opinion. But since I'm writing this one, I'll let you in on which team is the best to watch in my opinion. Right now the 76er i...Read more

There can never be a fair beauty contest because everyone have their own idea of what is beautiful and what is not. Brought up some good points. Great review. -Michelle

The big thing is that US at the time the polical and social attitude of the country was isolationism. The world's problem is the their problem, not ours. We did not get involve in the war with Germany until Germany declare war on us. Following the Pearl Harbor attack. The embargo was set becaus...e Japanese has already attack Aus. and Brit. coloneies in Asia. Yes, it could be true that Roosevolt wants to enter the war, and it would have to take an attack like Pearl Harbor to change publics attudute. One of the biggest factor in attach of Pearl Harbor was that it was the first time a foreign country had attacked the US on US soil ever since the war of 1812. US knew about the bombing. They even did mock up attack of Pearl Harbor ever since decoding the massage (Tora, Tora, Tora). Roosevolt plan never to put carrier and battleship fleet in the port at the same time for that reason. One of the other thing is there is division in the US navy of battleship and air power. Many ofRead More

Glad to hear that, I know there's good pegaents and bad pegaents out there. The good one I think is the Rose Bowl one. Where there are some girls that you might consider just average looking, but has a lot of class and talent. -Michelle

Hi, I love this review. The way I see it children should not be allow in 'beauty' pageants. I see it differently for adults since they are responsible for their own action. For me not all pageants are about physcial beauty. There is national pageant about oldely and moms. I know beauty might... be be consider as a talent. Then how does people explain the models you see in magazines now. They are hire because they look good. This also explain a lot about Britney Spears and other people that sell sex appeal on TV. I don't have a probably with Britney Spears now since she's over 18. But when she was 16 and dressing like a school girl and dance around school. That's just depressing how they turn a little girl into an image of sexual object. No one ever complain about the man's pageant. I've known a man from college that does man's pageant. When I saw one of those pageants in person and see how many female audience they have. It made me realize this is a two way street.Read More

I understand I took a point most people wouldn't. Some people hates beauty pageant and sees it as a shallow compitition put up by man. I personally wouldn't have the courage to go on pageants and have judges put me down because I'm don't tall enough or thin eough. I don't have the problem with ...that concept. It's the same thing with female stripper. Some people will look at that and think it's degrading and disgusting. But when they see a male stripper they will think it's funny. Some idea here. What is degrading for woman should be for man as well. -MichelleRead More

I find the only way to treat an addiction is for people realize an addiction is much more than your own business. It involves the people around you and especially the kids since they don't have much choice to get away from that enviorment. Thanks and I enjoy the feedbacks Michelle

I don't know if anyone else watch Ropert and Ebert, they are reviewing Pearl Harbor today. And if people think I'm harsh, wow, they really went all out on this one. They just hated it. It was funny to watch it because they point out couple of the mistakes I said about this movie. Michelle

Hi Riks, thanks for the support. A lot of people don't understand how their own action can also affect people close to them. I think people would think about it more if they realize what they are doing might hurt the people they love the most. Michelle

When I first wrote it and got 2 bad ratings, I thought I must be the only one that think this way. Thanks for the encouragement. I like writing review that brings out another point. Like most teenage girls, when I was in junior high and high school, I try to lose weight and look thin. That v...ery unhealthy both physically and mentally. I don't encourage pagaents to young girls that is still developing their body and mind. But if you are over 18, it's really your decision. thanks for the comments MichelleRead More

Hi Pallavi, I've drink spiced tea before and like it. But I don' know about the ginger one. Usually I got the recipe for cold is lemon in coke and boil it for a short time. Or ginger boil with lemon and sugar. I'll have to give it a try next time. Thanks Michelle

Hi, after reading both review, I wrote one myself about the same topic as we. I guess I took a little bit of a different stand point, and my lowest rated review so far :) I think beauty is a whole person, inside and out. Confidence play a huge role in it as well. If you feel that you are b...eautiful, which everyone is in their own way. There is no need to worry about comparing yourself to another person. Everyone is unique in their own way. I know the beauty pageant you talked about here is about young woman wearing swimsuits. But there are many other pageants for older woman, moms, and pregnant womans as well. There are also pageants for man too. I understand your points exactly, but I also see it from the other point. To me, I really don't mind it or care about it. Michelle Read More
