Hi, I have been using Spark for a year now and 9000 + kms. I did not find any of these issues other than Bonnet closing. Yes, I checked with dealer and the service guy said that raise the bonnet about a foot and then drop it and that is the only method. Nothing would happen to bonnet lock in that ...case. Recently, I was inspecting tyres and found that a screw was stuck inside the rear tyre. I removed it and air started releasing. So reinserted the screw back in the puncture and it stopped. Then there was no air leakage. Later I got the puncture repaired from roadside mechanic in 15 mins. No other major complaint so far. Car is really excellent and I am so happy.Read More

Gears should go smoother after approx 3K kms. I have not faced or heard any issue with AC Fan.

Spark suspension is very good even at speeds at 120-130 kms/hr. Boot space is much bigger than A-Star. Highway mileage with AC on is 18 + kms/ltr. For more details, you can check my review. I ilked one more thing about Spark. Spark gear ratios are very well tuned for city drive too. You can manage t...his car in city at 20 kms/hr in 4th gear, so lesser gear shifts in city. I am not sure whether this is case with other vehicles. So which you purchase now ? :) Whatever car you purchase, have a happy driving !!Read More

On highway you should get about 18 kms/ltr with AC ON. In city it depends on various parameters though.

Ormaz earlier was a big fan of Access, but from past few days (this is 3rd one) he has been recommending Activa. I have asked him couple of times why, but still he has not replied me on this. I am still waiting Ormaz !! You were the first to comment and to congratulate me on my first review for Acce...ss, that is why I am so much eager to get the answer from you.Read More

Hey Sanjay, first of all congrats for your new Spark !! No doubt you have made a right choice at this budget. Gear shift remains notchy for initial approx 3000 kms. But don't worry, it will go away for sure. Mileage will vary depending on the traffic conditions and AC uses. Boot space is quite good ...compared to this size car. 2 full size suitcases can fit easily. There is no issue with the side visions. You will get used to it. Write your next review or updates after 5000 kms or 2nd service. Happy and safe driving !! :)Read More

Hey Ormaz .. again I have same question for you.. Earlier you were a big fan of Access.. what happened now that you are asking to for Activa ?? And now that I have been using Access for more than 1 and a half years and more than 10,000 kms, isn't it enough time to test any scooter ?????

there is nothing which is maintenance free.. if you want more power and comfort, go for Access. there is another option called Aviator, if you are okay with the looks !!

Go for Access... no repenting for sure ..!! :-) Rodeo is new .. so I can't comment .. but I think Access's fuel tank is bigger than that of Rodeo. Access gives mileage of 45 kms/ltr. for me for 1 and half years now. you can check my review !! I feel not that all features are required alwayz .. After... my experience for more than 10,000 kms what I can say about Access in one sentence is that it reliable, durable and sturdy with great performance and healthy mileage.. :)Read More

Bad to hear that ! i have run my access for more than 10,000 kms now (1 year 5 months), but i did not have any back pain issue so far. On mileage front it is about 45 kms/ltr consistently. i must say it is a very good and reliable scooter available in the market.

Hi.. I got my Spark 1.0 PS for Rs. 3,18,000/- on-road Pune with all the discounts in Mar 09. At the same time, I was getting Alto for Rs. 3,08,000/- with discounts. In 8 and a half months now, I have spent about Rs. 22,000 on Petrol. FYI. :)

Hi Kaustav, Good to know that you are happy with Spark. Mileage depends on traffic conditions and driving habits of the driver. Generally, within city limits mileage is low for cars and with AC on it further goes down. Still you can try following things to improve on the same. 1.Try to drive wit...hout AC whenever possible. 2.Try to switch off AC, at idle or lower gears. 3.If you are about to stop for more than a minute or so switch off the engine. 4.Don’t drag a race with other cars/bikes. 5.Fill in petrol from the trusted petrol station and same station every time if possible. 6.Maintain proper tyre pressure (30 psi in all tyres for Spark) and check it once a month at least. 7.Try to maintain the highest gear at that speed / avoid freaquent gear shifts. 8.Don’t overtake while you are at lower speed into a particular gear. Instead gear down and raise the speed and overtake and shift to higher gear at proper speed. 9.Avoid frequent and unnecessary brakings. 10.Proper wheel alignment (after 10,000 kms). 11. Oops ! one more thing very important though ! minimum use of a clutch. Hope this list is not annoying you and helps you, though most of the things you are already aware of. :) My Spark gives mileage of 14-16 in Pune city with/without AC. On highway it goes beyond 18 with AC.Read More

Hi All, After using Spark for more than 8 months and for about 7000 kms, I can easily say that this is a complete bullshit and non-sense review, written simply to attract attention by one the Spark's competitor. There is not a single point which is true about Spark in the review. This maybe a Maruti... guy ?? any guess ??Read More
