I agree with you....i also spoke to mr sathyanarayana.....what a dumb arse attitude he showed ....he spoke as if Daikin had done a favor by supplying an ac and that too mine was brand new.....as a technical person he has no answer to any technical queries.....he just lets u to be at the mercy of dea...lers....pl guys make all necessary enquiries before buying this brand ....also heard that the all models will be now made in India.. the problems are going to increaseRead More

Mr Kdevan .....my frenz admire me for my logical thoughts and cool attitude thats wy my id is logicool...i have no link with Hitachi....for the record im into automobiles...Daikin rose to its height due to superb R&D by japanese...which in India would be spoiled by the sloppy Indian service support ...teamRead More

hi helloemanuel.... Agree with you 100%. This was the reason that i got very upset on choosing daikin ...for the additional 5000 rupees you could have got a Carrier with advanced features since carrier provides copper tubings as part of equipment. In my case eventhough Daikin recommended 3 me...tre i have installed only 1.5 m as only this much was required. Any increase in length will only mean loss of cooling efficiency ....so you end up paying more to losing more in terms of electricity bills The installation guy made me sign on the installation report that I had insisted for 1.5 m length eventhough min length not mentioned anywhere in daikin installation instruction manual(only max length of 20 M has been mentioned) What is then the minimum length then?????? A split A/c is nothing but a window a/c where the compressor and the blower unit is seprated...the working principle remains the same . This as you may know is done to isolate the noise of the compressor unit. In the case of window A/c the length of copper tube is very small and as everbody knows window a/c's consume less power and are more efficient..... Hence I can conclude that this nonsense of 3 metre is without any technical backup and no wise guy must get trapped in this truckload of crap that installation guys tell!!!! \ logicoolRead More

Hi Trisha_809 & Namrata.....thnks for the inputs I have mentioned that the product is great...its one of the noiseless units i have seen......but what i dont like is the way daikin treats its customers...when it is clear that all split a/c's require accessories for its basic function then why daiki...n cannot provide it with the product itself and charge the customer for that .....Daikin cannot dump its imported products on indian customers ....it cost me an additional 4000 rupees for installation....Had i known this earlier and for that money i would have opted Carrier or Hitachi which come with all accessories included in MRP.....als heard that daikin remote is 2500 Rs....which the customer has to pay bcoz daikin imports and does not localize or simply making more margins!!!! this attitude sucks I did get in touch with daikin head office and service support ......but they were just repeating what the dealer says for the sake of business interest and never went the extra step to clarify customer queries.....if they didnt have info they could check with their parent company...Read More

Daikin Home AC problems

Daikin....poor After sale support Fully agree with your views...its fair to expect good support from a premium priced product such as daikin...however the customers are left in a lurch when problem surfaces....the attitude of daikin sales/service personnel is appalling ..they just wash the hands and... push the customer to the dealer ....im my opinion....Panasonic or Mitsubishi A/c will do a great job.....Read More

Daikin 5 star brand with great products but poor transparency and after sales support.Daikin insists on using Daikin recommended copper tube but never provides it as part of A/C standard kit! The copper tubings not part of A/C kit...will cost you additional Rs.2000 along with 1500 as installa...Read more
