hello Paul, thanks for your comment. my point is not about expecting 50% returns and all that. I know these are unusually high. Yes, money invested in agriculture, industry etc. is fine. . Thing is, given the same farm area in the same region, when both farmers toil hard, why does one get better... returns? the climate is same for both, Maybe one is a clever chap and knows what to sow and when to reap etc. while the other one simply does what comes easy, doesnt work hard, and ends up losing money. In the case of stanchart classic equity fund, while others can reap good rewards, why does this one lag? what is the truth and who is responsible for this miserable performance? this is not about greed, but about answerability from those whom you pay so much to maintain their lifestyles and live royally. You just have to see the filthy high salaries and commissions these guys take home. lets not let them have their way and squander our money. making them more accountable is not greed but just setting the system right. I had same experience. please see my own post in this forum. anyways, I got my refund after around 100 days. If you are in Mumbai, go to their airport or city office and raise hell. no point in speaking with their call centre because chaps there have no idea what life is and everytime a new one c...omes on line and wants you to train him. their call centre is just a big circus. they will tell you request has gone to delhi etc.to their refund-in charge. This person, called Mr. Rajkumar is a strange guy. He is never in the office, wonder how he just collects his salary by remaining absent all the time. You are not going to find it easy to get your money back, in case it is still pending. tell as many persons as you can about the way this lousy chaps work and force the airline to mend its ways. hey guys, I just got the refund in my credit card account on 26th August. But I went through lot of sufferings to obtain my money back.
