MRF? Hardly something I would trust. My Bajaj scooter tyres from MRF were real pain.

Ok. A lot of discussion, some flack, some support. Average after 21000 km: 15.5 kmpl in South Mumbai bumper to bumper traffic, @ 18 on highways. I do not get the 21 odd that others claim. I got that mileage only once when I drove lazily to Ganapatipule from Mumbai. Costs incurred so far at 21000 ...km: Rs.8500 for service with brake replaced, brake oil, engine oil, coolant replaced, radiator washed, alignment, tyre rotations, etc. at Sai Service. Car feels more as stable as before and as responsive... Enjoy the ownership. Driven the car to a resort 930km away from Mumbai and back, some rough roads too, no problems. Wonder if I should take this to Leh-Ladakh!Read More

Looks like a digitally remastered photo to me. Are they really going to ruin Swift's sporty looks this badly? In any case, let me tell you that the current Esteem is a Volvo as compared to a Swift which can be analogus to a 2x2 luxury bus in comparison; and I mean the comfort part of it. I own both ...the cars and over 10 months odd that I have the new Swift, I still feel more comfortable sitting at the back in a 9 year old Esteem as compared to a sporty swift. The suspension is completely cushioney as compared to the riding Swift.Read More

I am simply shocked at what this person says. I myself own this car since 2001 and I have more reasons to be happy than unhappy. I still find it more comfortable than many other cars, though it may not be as roomy as the Tata Indigo, which is roomy, but very taxi-ish. Whatever that is claimed b...y this person may be very personal, for reasons unknown.Read More

Hi Read your review. Unless a person is paid by Tata Motors OR is naive OR is absolutely wanting a bargain, he cant make the kind of comments you have made, and here is why: Indica V2 Turbo IS a decent car. Great value for money. Space inside is big. Its POWERFUL, but thats where all the good ...things end. 1. Indica ride quality is VERY JUMPY. It does not have independent suspensions and is extremely uncomfortable to drive. 2. Indica is NOISY. In a diesel Swift, you can't make out if its a diesel once the ignition is turned on. Yes, the engine power gives it in, but that is because Diesel Swift IS MORE POWERFUL and feels more forceful than the Petrol one. 3. Swift is sporty, sexy, too handsome to ignore. 4. Indica carries the TAXIWALA image. 5. Resale value of TATA cars is far lesser. I expect the same with Swift. Regards KshitizRead More

This is my first review on MouthShut.Com & its about how and why I acquired my new roadbaby: Maruti Suzuki Swift VDi diesel. The first time I took a test drive of Swift was in a VXi, in 2006 April. Did not consider due to the limited boot space and wanting to graduate to a bigger car, what af...Read more

Hi. I went on test drive of Innova, brand new, as well as checked out a 22k kms done 14 month old one worth Rs.2L lesser. Power seemed to be very good, in fact, so was the ride. Drive seemed to be like I am driving a petrol vehicle... similar to an Esteem with no vibration. I am now wondering if... reviewers have a real identity after all, or these are planted people by companies?Read More

Dear friend, can I know the mileage of this car on long drives? How much of diesel does it guzzle on LONG DRIVES. I plan to buy a car for family of 3, but we wish to go across the length and breadth of India in the next couple of years.
