There is nothing wrong with this bike. I have completed 10,000 kilometers and all I have spent for is servicing and once for a replacement cone-set (400 Rs.). Outside of this, this the best bike in the Indian motorcycle market right now. Their service might be terrible, but that can easi...ly be addressed by finding a good bike mechanic elsewhere. I’m extremely happy with the performance, pickup and handling of this bike. This review describes a once-off experience which will is not likely to repeat very often.Read More

It may be bad luck, but do get it rectified. This bike is smooth as butter. I have just completed 8000kms.

@deb23 I'm not sure about the chain guard, but you can definately get a saree guard. Infact my bike came with a saree guard as a standard accessory.

@sriguru Thanks mate. I will post some pics of my bike soon. I have completed second service (now around 3k kms) and the vibrations have gone down a lot. I mostly only face them while going downhill, (at speed > 53)when the engine is not loaded. Apart from that, the bike is running top-no...tch. Suspension has eased up a lot. Fortunately, I know a good service engineer @ Pashankar Honda (Pune) who is extremely responsible and competent and tries to address all my concerns to the best of his ability. Weather is cold in Pune (~5-10 degrees) and I have to choke the bike in the morning now, but it starts on a single push most mornings and takes about 2 minutes to warm up. No complaints there, as even cars have an auto-choke feature that goes offf when you first start the engine after 8-9 hours of downtime. Choking has not taken a toll on the mileage either, still does about 55 to a litre. All in all, marvellous bike, I’m every bit happy about my purchase.Read More

@iparag4u 'There is not a signle buddy in HONDA bike service who can answer condfidently that, how only self start option is good for Indian Road & weather, SHAME ON HONDA SERIVCE.' They don't need to explain anything, the bike speaks for itself by starting in a single thumb-press, rainy days,... cold weather alike. @Amit1261 If you settled for Unicorn over this, how can you complain about its looks ? The unicorn is basically a 150cc Splendor...lookwise @ least. Own it to know it. This bike is great, you have missed out. Read More

'SAFETY: No leg guard, no saree guard' Both of these are available as a standard accessory for this bike. So basically all your review is saying that you poorly rate this bike because it does not look good to you ? You admit it performs in all other areas. Well, you are entitled to your op...inion and I'm entitled to mine. Your review....... NAH!!!Read More

The brakes are perfectly tuned. They are progressive so they don’t lock up unless you really jam the pedal down. No issue with the brakes @ all. I have driven this in the rains and not once have I even come close to skidding (due to brakes or otherwise). Having said that, the brakes deliver wit...hout fail when I want to stop the bike in a hurry. The Dazzler is hands down a performer in most aspects. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. However, I will say this. If you want to buy something (in the 150cc category) that: a) Is a Touring machine with good fuel efficiency, solid build quality and a great digital meter : - > Go for Suzuki GS150R b) Impresses girls when its standing still : -> Yamaha FZ / FZ-s c) Delivers on the road, handles well, has good top-end performance, returns great fuel efficiency (55+), has a solid exhaust note & still looks quite good (@ least to me) :-> Unicorn Dazzler. The choice is yours, I rest my case... Read More

@vickyaman25 Its only been 25 days since he bought it dude, I'm sure he will update it with more info. to make it more detailed as time goes by :-) I think its still very well written and honest, will definately help people form an opinion. @smeher Somehow, in Pune, at least for me, ac...cessories were no issue at all. I got a leg-guard + saree guard as part of standard fitment. My on-road cost was ~71+k. I've done about 1000 kms on my Dazzler and my first service is done (around 100 kms ago). Even I face the issue with the >50 kmph vibrations. I took it to my service center and the mech test rode it and also tightened the engine mounting bolts. The vibrations have reduced since then, but I can still feel them. It might just be psychological but I feel as though they are fading away as I clock on the kilometers. P.S Are you on xbhp ? I've made a post about the vibrations there as well to see if anyone else has this issue. Hop on to the forums, they are a useful source of info. Read More

.’advanced temple flow induction’ Good review, but I believe thats 'Advanced Tumble Flow Induction', no temples involved (Hero Honda is not really that religious ;-))

Absence of kick is not an issue. I have had the bike through most of the monsoons and I can start it with a single press every morning (I use it as a daily commuter). If you don't ride it everyday, it will still turn over with a single press, except you may need to use the choke in that case.

@ibdave 61 is too good. I recently discovered that tyre pressures have a bearing on the F.E figures as well. People on Xbhp forums are suggesting filling 33psi in the rear and 25psi front. Just FYI.

Finished my first free servicing about a week ago & tanked up yesterday for the third time (after 2.5 weeks), thought I'd post an update about my F.E figures. My last refilling took in 7.165 liters but I went on reserve about 10kms before I filled up so I'll call it an even 7 liters (measuring re...serve to reserve) With mixed driving conditions (city/open roads) it returned a distance of 390 kilometers from 7 liters of fuel, before it went into reserve again. That translates to roughly 55.7km to a liter. Not bad at all I recon, considering the fact that my CD-Deluxe (100cc engine) which peaked @ 7bhp returned me figures of ~62. This is twice the power still returning ~55, thats quite impressive. What figures is everyone else seeing ? P.S: @ sathyanarayanan89 Yash Honda service center @ hadapsar successfully got rid of my console vibrations.Read More

I see, well that is very likely. Either way, the Yash Honda (the place from where I purchased it) service center manager has requested me to bring the bike down tomorrow morning. He is confident he can fix it and I don't mind the weekend ~35km excursion to Hadapsar (from Kothrud), so I'm gonna take ...it in tomorrow. Lets see how good a job they can do with it. :-)Read More
