I have been having good old BSNL broadband for years and year - I have been quite happy with the service especially availability with very rare outages. In fact during the Chennai floods in 2015 and Cyclone in 2016- my BSNL phone and broadband was probably the only thing working! However BSNL ha...Read more

What a crappy review- First off it is in the wrong category- this section is for Airtel Vfibre and you seem to be talking about mobile broadband : towers/range/4Mb etc... ' I use this broadband at my home for downloading and suffering purpose ' LOL - or maybe you are right that we download for &#...39;suffering purpose' :-)Read More

I have been having a Samsung Galaxy Grand and have been very happy with that and found no reason to change it despite the fact that it tended to keep hanging every so often inspite of reformatting.(Got it a few years back).  Actually I was looking for a Tab to provide companionship to me on freq...Read more

My trusty Nokia E series was very reliable and good enough for me since years. However it was getting long in the tooth and I decided to 'upgrade'  to an Android device which meant by default a Samsung! Not willing to splurge upwards of 35 K on a Sammy S- series or Note I was waiting and watchin...Read more

8 Gb is the installed memory - usable memory is 4Gb - Remaining 4 Gb is taken up by the operating system. If required you can add an expansion SD Card upto 32 Gb. Unfortunately installed apps cannot be installed/moved to SD card- they need to be in the main storage. This is a limitation of Android J...elly Bean rather than Samsung. (In ICE you could swap apps between system storage and expansion SD Card)Read More

'FIAT India seems more content on selling its engines to other manufacturers than selling its own cars ! ' Very true! Inspite of the recent renewed effort by FIAT - as someone commented they could end up by having more number of dealerships than no of cars sold!

Ridiculous Review! You have yourself to blame! 'We bought a linea emotion pack diesal, 2011.' How come you got a NEW Fiat Linea 2011 (don't know what you mean by Linea 2011) when a new model was introduced in 2012? You are yourself to blame for not doing a proper PDI! Obviously the dealer cheated ...you by giving a TD vehicle. Probably gave you a discount and you swallowed it! Don't blame the vehicle. Blame yourself! Quality wise you can hardly find a match for this superb piece of engineering.Read More

An update my Nokia Siemens Wifi ADSL modem (purchased from BSNL) got fried - frequent switchingn off and rebooting automatically - logged a complaint and BSNL was very prompt in following up and sending their engineer- they checked the modem and for validation took it to exchange and tested it there... and confirmed that it was to be replaced. Excange AE was kind enough to call me up and explain personally and had the defecive modem returned. He also mentioned the opions I had - a) buy replacement modem from BSNL b) buy from after market. @Guys any suggestion for a modem compatible with BSNL? I don't want a Hi-fi modem I just want a Wi-fi modem a/b/g is OK with at lease one LAN port and the standard i.e firewall, natting, MAC security etc.Read More

I beg to disagree with this. I have been having BSNL since 8 years also in Chenai Circle and have been on various plans - currenlty on 900 Combo with d/l speed of 4 Mbps. I consistently get the advertised speed and sometimes in excess of that. Availability has been excellent > 99.9 %. I do agree ...that service is very beaurocratic and lax but as long as you don't have issues you are fine. May be the user is in a different circle where the experience is different. Rate wise also BSNL is the most cost effective.Read More

Got the Moserbaer MP3 Player MP 575-2G on a great deal @ Croma for (BION) Rs.594 last week. Am quite happy with the tiny MP3 player - good sound outupt tho the supplied earphones not very good - am using my own set of headphone. FM reception, Player music quality quite impressive. Compact controls (...only one joystick like control) + one slider for lock (hold). Inbuilt 2G memory (no provision for external SD card slot). Great if you want to use while exercising/cycling/jogging/travelling on bus/train.Read More

Very true observation- I have also purchased an Indigo CS GLX in Jun 2009. Am very happy with the performance - good mileage, comfortable and large interiors, good riding experience even at high speeds etc. BUT yes the finish leaves much to be desired- shabby plastic interiors, gaps all over inside ...and outside etc. But this car being a very good VFM, I've consoled myself to the fact that you get what you pay for !!!Read More

Similar thing happened to me..This at the Usman Road(Pondy Bazaar) / Mount road junctin (Teynampet signal). I was going from Pondy Bazaar. At th signal - there was no sign which said 'no free left turn' and there was no red light - in fact all the lights on the signal on the left side of road were n...ot lit up. I made a free left turn in my car. Just as I completed the turn a cop (the motorcycle gang) stopped me and said I'd voilated a signal. When I said what signal he said left turn. I told him there was no board which said no free left and offered to walk with him to show me where it said 'no free left'. He got abusive and said are police stupid to provide signals etc etc and said to pay a fine. I refused. He said I would get a challan by post and need to go to court. I said fine and also told him I noted his name and also would be taking photos of the junction and just stopped there. By then the traffic volume increased and my car was blocking the flow of traffic. So he just let me go. Am still awaiting the challan. As a twist to this, a couple of weeks later I was coming from Saidapet and wanted to turn into Pondy Bazar. (This signal is just opposite the previous one. There was no left turn signal (no board either) and I stopped and waited for signal. about 10 cars behind were honking but I did not turn. Look at the noise a cop (probably member of same gang) shouted at me to turn left and not block traffic.I told him there is no green signal for left. He said 'This is a free left turn. unless there is a board which says no free left turn you should turn left. You are blocking traffic - I will give you a challan! !!!!' In fact I wrote to the chennaitraffic.co.in web site putting this as a complaint but no response ! CLOWNS or ROUGUES - you take the pickRead More

The Indigo CS - is and has been an excellent VFM - for the price you certainly get the best deal- it all depends on how much you want to spend / can afford, and what you want. Pls read my review in MS : http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Tata_Indigo_CS-169110-1.html which could help you decide. Also r...ead the reviews in MS and carwale.com. As mentioned the new Tata Indigo Manza (next version of Indigo) tho priced higher is also an excellent Value For Money and feature packed. In short if you are on a budget of around 5 lakhs and want a sedan - Indigo CS is best. If you are OK with hatchbak, many options available - i10,i20,Ritz,Astar,Swift etc. If you can afford 6-8 lakhs and want Sedan - many options Dzire,Ford,SX4 and now Tata Manza. So it all boils down to your budget !Read More
