Yes I paid only 25$ because of the promotion through the cell phone carrier...and u know, these days there are more high tech smaller phones out there for 250, but this one, according to me...STILLL is competitive to those...I got an Ipod for christmas, and Ipod video, and let me tell you, I stillll...l prefer my ROKR to it. Hello! Yes you can use a new memory card and carry more tunes and videos but the only thing is you won't be able to put more than 100 songs in itunes..but it has another mp3 player on it which works fine. This phone is great!

Hey Nik, Read your review since you read most of mine! Thanks for your comments and your ratings and your warm welcome to MS....I stumbled on this site and now i'm hooked. I actually was born and brought up in Edmonton and used to go to the Rockies every year for spring break: we used to drive o...ut to jasper, and that was my favorite drive...the long, flat prairies and then suddenly: rolling hills and the jutting out of the majestic Rockies. I was too young to enjoy them the way you clearly have but I look forward to trekking out there again, in the near future. I wish I lived there, it is the most beautiful place in Canada, hands down. And the wildlife abounds there. Did you go whale watching on the west coast? Hope to hear from you soon, JuliaRead More

If I could rate higher for value of money, I would rate it at 100 over 5. I got this phone for christmas, and at first was skeptical. I love sleek, small, streamlined gadgets that look sophisticated and all. Right off the bat, the Rokr looks a bit clunky. But: wait till you see what I do w...Read more

Actually, I liked that scene. I do understand it might be blasphemous to some who see abhishek picturing Raima's body as he sculpts Durga, but the way I saw it was that sculptures draw on life to imitate in art, and Raima's body was the only body he knew. And the goddess was something he respected... which only meant he respected his wife just as he would revere a goddess. He was missing her, the feel of a woman's body reminded him of the only woman he knew. Although he did start thinking about Soha's character as he was sculpting, I do not think it was to show his disrespect for the goddess but more his love for the feminine, which is what the goddess represents. It wasn't a perversion but an appreciation of what the goddess represents, all women. That's just my take. I did not take it as gross. Also, the menses, might not have had to be shown for tastefulness, however its not disgusting as it is a natural occurence, and Rupa acted so well showing her desperation to not only please her husband but get herself a son, but also she had just lost all hope and faith and was giving up all her beliefs in what was right and wrong, that's why she agreed to sleep with the priests. what do you think?Read More

After watching Antarmahal, I promptly googled the reviews and was disgusted by the opinions that were scattered about only because they overshadowed the film's merit. First comment: THIS IS NOT GRATUITOUS SEX. There are no scenes in this movie that turned me or I hope any body on. The film...Read more

This movie was unexpectedly great. Everyone I know had watched it and given mixed reviews. So when I went to watch it, I expected nothing at all. And I was pleasantly surprised. The twist to the plot, the sort of sinchronistic plot lines: very new, very artistic on the part of the director, v...Read more

I just watched Nishijapon after being urged by my father, with whom I share a bond over Satyajit Ray's Movies. Satyajit Ray was the greatest director, able to pick up subtle nuances in human relationships or anything really with his expert direction and remarkable observations. He was truly a ma...Read more
