Not sure, how it was back in 2004, but I have been working in Malaysia since 2007 and day by day the number of Indian expats are increasing. Now we have an Indian School here. I head my country's office which by the way is Chinese owned. Local politics does discriminate and very protective of the Ma...lays, but generally I have personally never faced any discrimination, in fact only got a lot of love and respect from all races even as a younger executive. When it comes to local Indians many are very eminent respected lawyers and doctors also, while on the other side of the spectrum there are the disgruntled have nots. But then this happens in every country. There are the have nots among the Malays also. Generally the Indians here are living a better life than if their forefathers hadn't either migrated or been brought in by the British. Many of them came to escape the caste system in India in the first place. It was those at the lower end of the food chain from India who came over in larger numbers.Read More

Possibly this is one of the weakest show among all Sa Re Ga Ma shows over the years. While some participants are exceptional: Kamal, Sniti etc. the others are ordinary... Rajwada is only good when he sings Ghazals. Rest all is OK types because his voice is not that good. Secondly, the mentors are ve...ry weak in making their presence felt. All Daler Mehendi can say is 'Rab Rakkha' and 'Chak De Phate'. Too repetitive. Shekhar and Vishal are just about OK. Sajid Wajid look like local goons from the Mumbai slums! Their language is such, very Mumbaiyya but not suitable for the show. The comments are quite unimaginative and lack any depth unlike in the previous shows by Adesh Srivastava, Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam, Suresh Wadekar, Alka Yagnik etc. The worst was the anchor Purab Kohli (thank God they changed him), absolutely no screen presence when compared to Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Aditya Narayan or even the cute Afsha Musani.Read More

You must be kidding. You need about Rs. 200 per head per day for a meal in Malaysia. Food is cheaper in Thailand no doubt, but Malaysia is cheap too. Also Malaysia is infrastructurally much better organised than Thailand.

Unfortunately New Yogi has closed down. Possibly location was a disadvantage with it being right next to a traffic signal, hence approach and parking would have been a problem

An Indian from Mumbai, now live and work in Malaysia.  In the mean time have travelled extensively within Malaysia and also Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong.  I can safely say that Malaysia is the best tourist destination in terms of Value for Money.  Thailand would come next.  The other...Read more

At Sion, this is probably the only bar and restaurant which is an excellent family restaurant and also provides great value for money. Peninsula is bloody expensive and you get the same quality of excellent food at Yogi. Even during peak season, you manage to get a seat at Yogi, possibly beca...Read more
