Its becoming worst now.. Initially when checked with CC, they said, even if I disconnect, we dont have to return the STB and Dish. They will refund the money left in my recharge balance. On another call another agent mentioned that if disconnected, STB not to be returned as it is owned by the custom...er, but the dish needs to be returned. Finally when I got a call from Disconnection team, they asked me to return the STB and not the dish. I said, I paid for the STB and not going to return it unless they show any agreement where it is mentioned that we need to return the STB upon disconnection. I also informed them to take the dish and disconnect if required. They replied arrogantly mentioning they will not disconnect the service. Can anyone let me know what is the correct process. Returning STB is like, returning our mobile phone if we change the service.. which does not make sense to me. STB if they need, I will have to return the broken pieces of it coz I have already thrashed it upon frustration.Read More

Prateek... I think for you the worst days are yet to come. Disconnection is another major headache. As per my understanding they are not going to refund the money for STB and installation. instead they will offer a replacement of STB for which you have to pay another 500Rs. The replacement device wo...uld be a used one/repaired one. Depends on your luck. If raised a disconnection request they will ask you to return the STB for which we customers paid from our pocket.Read More

@varun Thats what the customer care informed me. But I too do not know how (and I dont feel like calling them again.). There is around 300Rs left in my account. They have also informed that a customer do not have to return the dish as we have paid the money for all the equipments and it belongs to... the user. As per their records, the disconnection process will complete only by today. I will keep you posted.Read More
