You should check the fuel average by Tank full to Tank full method. That is a fool proof method of determining fuel average. Do not rely on the low fuel lamp method. Just fill the tank to the brim (the fuel should be upto the brim and it should be visible to you - don't go in for the automatic shut... down of the fuel nozzle and that varies from nozzle to nozzle). After filling up your car's fuel tank, drive around for a few km and then get your car's tank filled up like earlier. After this, divide the number of Km by fuel filled in second instance to find out the real average. Only after this would you be able to find out the correct mileage.Read More
