Update.. after 3rd service the car performance is even more better, i feel car is super smooth, fuel economy i got after service is around 19.5kmpl on highway & 15kmpl in city. i could clock a top speed of 175 KmPh on Bangalore Hyderabad highway. I have opted for AMC so service cost was 0 rupees..., i had asked them to install 1 low pitch horn for which i had to pay 450 Rs including labor charges & tax. under Gold AMC oil change is covered, they have used 15 w 40 Castrol mineral oil. FYI under gold AMC parts such as wiper blades, hose pipes, brake pads, coolant, brake fluid, Engine oil, and other consumables are covered. also service charges / labor charges are covered. Hi i own tata indica vista quadrajet BS4 model. i have Clocked ~10000 kms, touch wood till now i haven’t faced any such failures. the car is doing really well. this car will defiantly not be a failure. and indica was also not a failure. trust me y do they buy any car for taxi, just because it is mos...t practical car on road, in all aspects such as performance, pricing, & space requirement. indica delivers all this features & most of indicas would have successfully completed 200000kms. if you stand on a busy road and do a survey / counting 6out of 10 car would be tata indica, (it may be taxi but still) how can v call such car a failure. the only thing indica lacks is the quality of interiors. which i should agree. but in indica vista all this is taken care off. we can call it as evolution of indica. for the price we pay in this segment indica vista is the best VFM car is what i feel. If you see recommendation of users 63% users recommend indica vista. Even for the best seller in the segment Swift u can notice only 73% recommendations yes when it comes to customers there will always be satisfied & dissatisfied customers. after sales people should take proper care of the second segment ’’dissatisfied’’ customer is what i feel, by which product name wont get spoiled. one thing i forgot to mention in review is the average mileage i get In city driving condition without AC i get ~14 Kmpl Highway driving condition worst14Kmpl to Best 21Kmpl it depends on type of road & load on vehicle. @ thegreatone : Good piece of information.. but only after invoicing they proceeded with procurement of car. 1 day before registration they cleared PDI. i think at that time i could have gone and rejected the car. and about scratches i should say these scratches were made by people who installed sun... film. yes the problem with combination switch & rear wiper was major for which i could have rejected the car. But i feel after problems were rectified within one day, so not a problem.Read More

Any thing v buy, or any thing v or any company designs should be user friendly... n especially things like cooker, gas stove, microwave ovens etc.. because this will be used by people who will either have less knowledge or will have very less time to spare.. in my home my morning session will be lik...e a running race.. with other cookers any 1 would notice 3 whistles n off the stove... it is not necessary that the person who has kept the cooker on the stove to remember n switch it off....but in this cooker u can never notice the sound of whistle,.... n many people have advised me to set the timer for cooking.... wat a joke... now with this u will have to buy a timer also.... n i think one should use this cooker for 10 years to get used to it... lol ;-) and i am not obsessed with any whistle my dear friend... every thing which has critical parameters will have buzzer or some sort of indication to show that u can now stop procedure or initiate some action which is necessary.. for example micro wave oven gives out buzzer alarm when process is completed.. ur car gives alarm when u r not wearing seat belt.. now they have started with side stand buzzer for bikes n scooters, in washing machines after the whole cycle is completed it indication by buzzer, if it dosent give indication n u dont take out the cloths from it cloths wont get spoiled but it will smell bad for which u will never curse urself for not taking cloths out of washing machine but u will compare it with other washing machine which gives out buzzer sound .. safety my dear friend.... here if u dont have some sound or indication some other thing may happen, safety valve may blow off, things which r being cooked may get spoiled.. worst case cooker may blow off if safety valve fails... and after keeping the cooker on the stove atleast in my home v dont have time to stand in front of it for 15 to 20 mins in morning and switch off the cooker(stove) ;-).. now v r using this cooker only on weekends ;-) VFMRead More
