I own a Nikon D40 DSLR and have owned three P & S cams earlier. Aesthetics/Styling/Ergo: As you can see, this cam has a very conservative exterior, save for the glossy finich around the pistol grip (Hand grip surrounding the AA batteries). If you look in detail, you can see the 5 way D ...Read more

I too own one Canon A590IS!!! First get your knowledge right! Carl-Zeiss or Leica (not Luca as u have mentioned) are only lens makers and they sell lenses to Sony, Panasonic etc. Canon/Nikon manufacture their own lenses as they are pioneers in camera designing. Not like Sony which is a Jack o...f all trades. Not only your lens matters! have you ever used the Manual, Av, Tv options in this camera. Do you know what an F number is and Shutter speed is??? if you have known, you would not have taken a blurred, distorted photo with this camera. I have used Manual Exposure mode in this camera and is better than any other P & S camera with manual controls (in this price point). Dont blame the Auto function for poor indoor results. You also have ISO setting for indoor shots. Explore and try to understand your camera first before sharing your reviews with other guys here. When you talk about color dithering in long zoom, you must have been in the digital zoom region. Show me any other (Sony/whatsoever) compact camera which does not possess this Con. Check if you have your IS turned ON. Check if you have AutoFocus Assist lamp ON. etc etc. you have umpteen settings within this camera. I, a Nikon D40 user, is happy with this camera as i know the settings it has. I believe you should explore your camera first before writing a review. And, what do you mean by grey camera??? Do you mean it is a junk/bogus one??? I doubt it could be!! Considering the cost involved in the Camera system manufacturing, none would dare making and releasing a duplicate camera in the market when the market is flooded with good quality, cheap cameras (like Canon A590IS). IMHO, Grey cam is mostly the original product without warranty which saves big bucks. Stop whining and learn what is in your camera. i am sure, you can get good pic quality from this cam. Overall, it is a good camera for beginners with all round performance. You can buy one for 6.5k INR. Read More

AA batteries are better than Li_ion batteries in many ways. 1. Get a rechargable battery of 2700 mAH. It will give you 600 shots per charge. Keep recharging. 2. On a special occassion, if the Li ion battery runs out, you are DONE. But, if it is an AA battery, you can manage with new set of recharg...ables.Read More

Hi, Yes. Everyone complain about vibration in TVS Flame. This could be because of 4 Gears. I own Yamaha Gladiator Graffiti version. I bought the bike in April 2008 in Chennai. Ridden 7000 Kms. I dont have any Starting problems. Self works fine in cold conditions too. Jammu may need few k...icks in the cold morning. I get a mileage of 60 KmPL (Believe me ! Its True. Because, for the first 1500 Kms, I drove the bike within 45 KmPH speed. ) Yamaha does not vibrate even above 70 KmPH speed. again, True. I did not buy the SS or RS version. I bought the older Graffiti version. Because, it has full chain cover and double side gear lever. Mileage depends on how responsibly u handle your bike. Main advantage of Yamaha over Flame is its 5th gear. So, NO Vibration. Smoother ride. Go for Yamaha, if the dealer near your place is GOOD. BTW, Yamaha spares are BIT costlier than TVS. Whatever bike you buy, make sure that it has 5th gear. 125cc bikes need Overdrive gears for smooth operation. good luck, madhavRead More

Guys leave him alone! let him enjoy his bike in which he has invested money in. BTW, you cant say that Flame is a category leader. My 8 months old Gladiator wakes up every morning at Button Start. TRUE.

Being a Gladiator owner, i would suggest you none other than Gladiator Graffiti model (than SS and RS models). its 48k on road with Disc and self start and alloy wheels. i get consistent mileage of 60 kmpl for chennai city driving. looks, comfort, top speeds are good. braking is exc...ellant. you get 5 smooth gears. Lighting is bit dull. Go for Gladiator. you wont regret. Glamour costs you more. Shine has more vibrations and gear box probs. its not smooth as unicorn or gladiator. i commute 30+ kms a day. gladiator is good for me as i am tall. pickup of glady is slightly on the slower side. but highway speeds are great. enjoy yamaha.
