Reviewed Feast of All Saints - Anne Rice

Feb 26, 2004 07:46 PM 3502 Views

(Updated Feb 26, 2004 07:50 PM)

Between 1810 and the Civil War, there lived in New Orleans a strange, belonged-nowhere class of people called the free people of color, known better as Creoles. Varying mixtures of the black race and French ethnics (halfbreeds, quadroons, and octoroons, mostly), they had a unique place--or non-p...Read more

We're both rude, I'd say...but you're stupid, too, so you need help worse than I do. Laurie

You didn't like my comment on this mediocre review, so you Distrusted me. How childish; thank goodness your Distrust doesn't even touch me. Laurie

You didn't tell us anything but that you like Coke better than Pepsi. You didn't tell us anything about the product at all. NR for completely worthless. Laurie

This would be an HR, but the formatting all screwed up and hard to read. If you edit to fix the formatting, let me know, please, and I'll gladly come back and rerate. Laurie

This is very choppy and thrown together, but I'd still have Recommended it, if I weren't sure the entire review is taken directly from an advertisement and/or the website. Laurie

I learned nothing here except that you believe you were physically addicted to the caffiene content in Diet Coke.® Still and all, I would have been charitable and given this a Recommended... ...if there hadn't been so many spelling and grammatical errors. Those mistakes drag the review down ...to an SR. You have a spell check; please use it. Sorry. LaurieRead More

Sorry, I've read two of your reviews now, and they're terrible. Your disjointed and nonsensical work is a waste of the time and effort it takes to read it. laurie

Mountain Dew is third in the caffeine sweepstakes. First, believe it or not, is Dr. Pepper, followed by JOLT and then Mountain Dew. Nice review, though I can't force myself to drink the stuff. That nuclear yellow-green color makes me think it's the result of uranium experiments gone horribly wron...g. laurieRead More

Personally, I think the best thing about Foster's is the commericals ('Australian for beer, mate'). It tastes as I imagine cat piss does. BTW, your spelling of 'subtle' ('suttle') is funny but wrong. No doubt you have a spell-check; please use it. Laurie

I would have rated this a solid Recommended if the spelling and grammar had been better. You have a spell-check; use it. Laurie

I might have been charitable and rated this Recommended if there had been any attempt in your review to spell or punctuate correctly. As it is, it very nearly ended up as an NR--the review has almost no information about the product, and the terrible formatting and usage errors don't help. Consid...er the SR a gift. I would have rated this Recommended, but the many grammatical and spelling errors dragged it down to SR. These reveiws are supposed to help consumers make buying decisions. Reviews filled with formatting mistakes make it difficult for people to get through them. Laurie

The Panasonic 4540 VCR looks like every other VCR in the world. It's black, with lots of buttons and a digital clock that keeps month, day, and time automatically on the front. It works like every VCR in the world, too; it does its job competently day in and day out, giving us adequate service w...Read more

As her hero matures, J. K. Rowling's' style matures along with him. Each book is better than the one that preceded it--and that's saying something, because they were super from the get-go. The newest, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is something few children's books today can proclaim--it is...Read more

This review isn't abusive by an means, but there's nothing here either--nothing to make a reader want to grab a copy of this book. Please add some information about the product (or book or movie) to your work, chrissy. These are supposed to be reviews, not thumbnail sketches. I have to NR this... one, just because there's nothing here. LaurieRead More
