Sorry to hear about this. I hope by now they have sorted out your problem. Yesterday in an electronics mega mart, I was having a look at Samsung LED TV. The salesman cautioned me that due to the humid and salty air in and around Mumbai area (also any other part of India, with similar weather c...ondition), the soft touch circuit of Samsung panel malfunctions. The TV hangs, because only one function out of several is working. It seems that your TV (and so you) suffered this strange illness. Word of caution to other prospective buyers: pls consider buying a LCD or LED TV that does NOT have the soft touch controls. Read More

If we didnt have locks, what would have the bunch of keys done??

Apr 17, 2010 08:33 PM

Maybe true Dear Ipspati, Maybe you are true with your thought that we all should lock out our bad natures. The issue here is that we are just too many and we cannot control or influence thoughts and deeds of others. We do not have any thought leaders like... .... the great Mahatma Gandhi wh...o could really breed ''ahinsa'' in the Indians in their fight for freedom. ......or Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who could breed revolutionary thoughts with his ''Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azadi doonga'' Today every individual is in a hurry for success (and which unfortunately is translated into the money that he or she has earned) and quickly. That leaves no time for any good thoughts, right or wrong. Coming to your example from Himachal Pradesh, have you heard about a small village called Shingnapur in Maharashtra? The people in this village never lock their doors even today. They do not fear being robbed. Unfortunately, this can not happen in crowded cities and metros like Mumbai or New Delhi for example, where people have different motives and ways of leading their life. Thanks for your interesting thought, made me write so much. Cheers and take care.. ~ DivakarRead More

Good review buddy. Thanks for not disclosing the end of the movie. Finally, I may watch it for the performance of the cast.

Great review. In fact I wanted to write a review on the movie but after reading yours I thought otherwise. So just writing my comments. I watched it yesterday with family and friends. We loved it and the kids loved it too. Obviously the movie must have made a good impression overall. Seve...ral non-marathi patrons were there and also few policemen on duty outside the theater sneaked in for sometime. I thought that the end was very aburpt or was I expecting more? No clue. Great review.....you could consider being a honest film-critic as well. This movie is on my wish list and it seems that RGV has finally come back on the right track with this one. I hope he brings more of such films than any kind of remakes. Once again, great review.....

Good review indeed no wonder its ROTD. I am/was one of the very early owners of 5800, which I bought in Jan2009. It was by far the best piece on rack those days, costing Rs.21K approx. I somehow managed to damage it, as I accidently dropped it in sea-water. Now it is absolutely useless and I a...m still not able to recover from the shock. Its time to buy a new one, and what else, I will buy 5800 again. ~Divakar.Read More

How about sharing your view on some aspects of a movie e.g. the storyline, cast, music, direction, photography etc. etc. Hope to read more from you.... ~DivakarRead More
