Aditya Chopra s ‘ Aaja Nachle’ was very eagerly awaited  as ‘Madhuri Dixit s comeback movie’.  The queen of Bollywood is stellar in her second innings and has indeed made a very powerful re-entry.  Astonishingly slim and generously flashing her disarming smile, Madhuri looks more  vibrant than e...Read more

Your review is well written. However, I disagree with your judgement on the ‘shameful’ performance of the cricket team in the world cup. If there was one moment when the cricket team needed the nation s support, it was after the world cup first round defeat. Instead of standing by them through t...ough times, the citizens failed the team by burning effigies and damaging their personal property. That is the shameful part, in my opinion. I am all for giving more importance to our national game. But, it need not be at the cost of deflating cricket and calling cricket defeats as shameful. Defeat is a part of any game and it is never shameful. Having said that, I share your pride as an Indian while watching the movie. India has a long way to go before it becomes a world beating team in any sport ( including cricket and hockey). The movie, as you rightly said, points out what it takes for a team to get there and in a subtle way, what is stopping India from realizing that goal. Read More

This is a very well written review. It is simple, easy to understand and yet demonstrates a firm command over the language, very much like Shobha De herself , whom you seem to admire :)

Opinions differ. I am sure you have your take on why this movie is pathetic. But, I appreciate the fact that you rated my review and did not let opinions influence rating. That is how it needs to be and let me tell you, there are not too many people in this forum who demonstrate that maturity. ...DhasaradhyRead More

Pras, Azhar, Psyxx and Daya - Thanks a lot for your kind words. I watched her sail through to round 4 last night and it is indeed an incredible feat for someone from India. Sania should break into the top 10 to be called truly world class, but she is our bright hope and it is important that the ...media, which is hyping her now, does not drop her like a hot potato once she starts losing acouple of games.
