Just to update - I got a call from Looking Good BTM couple of weeks back. Mr. Dilp and Arvind visited my house and checked the issues - they promised me to rectify all the issues. Then a week back they sent people to work on this. Since it was a reapir work, my expectation was low. But they tri...ed their best to rectify. The polish at the border looks much better now, the bent ply is not now visible (the door covers it), the loft shutters are bit OK. The carpenters tried their best to give a good finish. I am quite happy that they spent the whole day, and addressed all the issues. I want to thank Mr. Arvind who was constantly inspecting the work and made sure that all the issues got addressed. I want to thank both Mr. Dilip and Arvind for their good intention to rectify all the issues and at the end to see me satisfied.Read More

Tips on Pest Control

After lot of search, I went with South India Pest Control. Their website says - ''It is efficiently run by a consortium of agricultural graduates specialized in Entomology and pest control''. They are quite professional - I have made one year contract with them. But while checked the review - it is ...again mixed (but very few people told bad about it). For cockroaches, they had given standard treatment (ike gel etc.) - but as I have lot of small cockroaches, not sure whether this will work. I may have to go for some chemical treatment - but it is risky to do that in the kitchen. Let's see the result.Read More
