Having seen some of the good comments about PCI (though there were very few), I had decided to go ahead with them. It's a big company and for many years they are in this field. There are a lot of cockroaches in my apartment, so I opted for that service. They were asking for 1 year contract, but I was not interested. I wanted to see the effectiveness, so asked them for one time service only.
I wanted to do this on Saturday, since we are a working couple. Their call center told me that I need to wait for two weeks, since all the slots are full. I was ready to wait and booked it, so the date was 28th July, Saturday.
On 27th July, someone called me and told the technician will be there tomorrow at 3:30 PM. I was happy. On 28th, no one called me till 3 PM. So, I called back and wanted to confirm - since I am just sitting at home and waiting for the guy. I had some work to do, and if their person does not come then I should finish my personal work. They told, don't worry sir - our technician will be there at 3:30 PM.
Well, at 4:30 PM, when still I was waiting for that guy - tried to reach their Bangalore call center. No one picked up - I tried thrice, then I gave up.
Imagine, after waiting for two weeks, I did not get any service or even information from them. Otherwise I could have tried some other pest control service. I think if someone goes for 1 year contract, it will be pathetic - since after doing the first service they will just disappear.
I really did not expect such an unprofessional behaviour from a company like PCI. I am now searching for some other service provider.
