A better tale of destiny and love. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Movie
I believe, this is how a creative idea should be played with. Challenging 'rationality' of the viewer. Like you have been contemplating on 'how' of old to younger Benjamin Button. I think the director was successful in making that teritory blind and fuzy. The magic of fairy tales or impossibility of... science fiction. What has not happened in nature so far does not mean cannot happen ever here or anywhere else. Atleast it can happen in mind and this movie has shaped that idea. And that is the way creative faculties function. They break the norms. Here, I think script was only trying to make a point, that Benjamin was 'different'. And despite of that difference her mother accepted the baby unconditionally, for she asks her husband 'Promise me he'll have a place.'Read More

Benjamin Button’s case is not curious but insightful. Benjamin Button is a classic specimen study of evolution of human stages irrespective of age. Moving from birth to death, irrespective of size and wrinkles on skin. A progression of emotionality and rationality. The way experiences add to age...Read more

The whole world is vibrating to the success and applause of Slumdog Millionaire. Can I choose to be on a different frequency? Not really. It will require too much effort and I’ll come across as prejudiced. But here I am with my prejudice. And that is why this write-up does not appear in the revie...Read more

Continued…… I think director Danny Boyle has done no different job. He just combined all ingredients. Tragedy, a love story, technical perfection, and of course blended art and sounds that captures life of Slums and Mumbai. It really wasn’t creative, but it really was daring and a perfect recipe....Read more

..like what would you say for the dialogue where Kangna says 'kya yeh jannat hai?' and the reply is... ' haan aur mein is jannat ka darbaan' i think the whole sequence captures that doting fondness of two lovers. Especially that of the boy absolutly in love with the girl. And of course there are mor...e moments, like her birthday and the whole lotta sentiments there.Read More

Everything that shines in not gold. Tips for Employees
People who are successful in call centres are normal people who would've either got through some railway recruitment exam or upsc kind. You cannot compare a clerk to Narayan Murthy. Some one who comes last in the class cannot be made first overnight. There has to be opportunities for people who are ...not in the race. Either by skill or will.Read More
BPOs may not do anything for your personal growth but yes it does something substantial for economy's growth. Those who are made for the routine kind of jobs may do exceptionally well here and earn for themselves a decent pay, confidence and appreciation. Well...it may be that a BPO industry may not... be for you and me but for those it is, it has contributed some deal. Do you agree...? After all not everyone is made for the technical field or the medical or the clerical or the creative or the BPO… Working in shift is the requirement of the job as is working in coalmines the requirement of the coalman. He cannot choose to be seated in the boardroom. He is skilled for the field. It’s all about the choice that one makes. It’s all about the skill one has got. It’s all about how long one can get enticed to the heavy pay packet. If one is not made for the field that person will sooner or later quit. And that is true of every industry. Especially the creative people feel the frustration foremost. And think about unemployment. It’s even more frustrating to have earned a decent degree but not the surety of finding a suitable job. Atleast the educated now do not face the trauma of being unemployed. I know many IAS aspirants who chose to take up a job in BPO to be self reliant and devote some hours to their study. It all depends what one wants from the job.Read More
Dialogues lacked that depth and the screenplay could have been better. What remained with me after getting out of the movie hall was the powerful performances(Kangna) and the director who was able to elicit such performances.
A story to tell or just to tell a story! Anthony Kaun Hai
They are two different genres. Differently treated. And this is a review of the movie not a personal opinion. It has to be objective to some extent. After all the lovestory imbibed in AKH does not make an impact but Arshad's performance does.

If cinema is story telling, then this one is exactly that nothing more nothing less. A sleek story line with comic narration, smart performance and worth of money you would expect from the duo chemistry. Sanjay and Arshad have few moments together as this movie belongs to Arshad. A roller coaster ride for anyone watching it assuming that it’s just a love story. Let me warn you, it’s not. But I still recommend it. There are emotions galore in this sweet poison ivy. Spirituality couldn't have manifested itself in such a lucid manner. This movie Banaras strikes on the same chord. Spirituality ...Read more
