I would suggest not to buy this car at all. I have driven the card personally for more than 1.5 lacs kms and would suggest never to go for it. Even if you dont have any other option just dont pay more than 2.5 lacs

Just experience the dealers attitude towards this car and I am sure you will throw this car in CHAKKI river near the Mahindra outlet in pathankot. I was there on a recent visit to pathankot and know ...what I am talking about regarding your dealer. Also when you will burn your pockets with costliest spares and poor servicing by dealers then you will realise why people dont buy this car. Dont take the risk of driving this car in interiors of any state or hills in HP as you wont find any necessary spare in case of breakdown and your co passengers will regret travelling in this car. All your points regarding inner space, boot space, mileage etc are correct but then these are available in ambassador car also So I wish you all good luck wwith this beast.Read More

Dear Ashutosh thanks for your comments. firstly i would like to clarify that I am not into taxi operations. i am into imports of medical equipments and thus covera lot of area around delhi (radius 300kms) by car only. My car meter reads 120000 + today and I have driven the car myself. Even if my hi...red driver(who si a far better driver than me) drives the car then still I drive it with my heart. All my services are on time(counter check with mahindra with my car number 3684.) All at their authorised cebntres. Clocked 21+ kms/lt always and almost 18 in city driving. i am not a ruthless driver by any sense. i have bought the car to use it and not to be parked in my home. I wanted a value for money thats why i bought this car otherwise many other options were available at cheaper options also. This car appealed to me and my requirements - space, mileage, robust, i am highly disappointed by what all is happenning to me and dont want others to suffer. The review I have posted can be shared by so many others if you take time out at their service centre and meet people who have driven 50K+. NOW some facts. This car has a engine life of 4,50,000kms and then it will need some major rehauling. I have not driven 15% of that when the problems started. The dealers care the least about renault cars. dear just drive the car for 50K + kms and you will see all kind of problems cropping up. I have driven 75k + kms in last 17 months and I know how much I am paying to keep the car going. Most of the driving has been on highways and I am not a rough driver at all. Now the suspension has given up ...too. Hard clutch, steering, door noises, costliest spare parts, A/c getting on/off regularly, low cooling, and so many other things will crops up. If you plan to sell before that you will definitely enjoy but as I can see you will be driving a lot then it wont be long before the problems start cropping up. And dude just dont venture out too far from highway, you wont find a service outlet for hundred of kms from main cities. Go to the dealers for servicing etc and they all will be interested in scorpios only.Read More
