@dr_nikhil.. hi nikhil, have done around 6K in last one year. Didn't have any problems with car.. As I use i mostly for weekend trips and short distance between my office and home... mileage doesn't matter to me...I have'nt done full tank mileage calculations due to this reason from last 6 months. H...owever, I have an idea that it gives me around 12kmpl+ in city with ac on and around 15kmpl on highway. But please note that I am not zip zap driver and do not prefer to make unnecessary accelerations during driving. May be this helps on mileage side to me. From cars perspective, I am really happy that I made a decision to buy accent over hatchbacks like ritz, swift. I really like its handling and ride quality. Its real value for money... I also had look at fiesta classic during my research.. and liked it, but base model of fiesta classic was put at 1L more than accent price. Also, I feel that fiesta is better if you want diesel car. For petrol car I was satisfied with accent.
Overall i am happy with my buy. I don't say that accent is better than fiesta.. You have to make comparisons based on your requirements i.e. FE, price, features desired...Read More

if you wanna go for factory fitted cng kit in accent then, it will further move out of your budget around 6.25 on road, i think. if you are going to fit CNG from outside, then it may cost less, but then your warranty may get void.. choose it carefully... but i have heard accent cng w...orks well without significant drop in its performance. i have already put my new accent review with mileage(petrol). @faizanmir - I was also in same fix, but decided to go for accent as it seems to me as value for money. Also, I personally like its look in comparsion to dzire. I will recommend you to take test drive in both cars. I think on road price of dzire vdi is 1.5L more as compare to accent. In my view, if ...your running is more than 1200 Km per month, then it makes sense to go for diesel. Have driven my accent for 15 days now and i love driving it.Will post my review soon...Read More

Nice review varun. I am also looking for my first car and has shortlisted accent executive. I am only concerned about its mileage. My perception is that generally it is around 9-11 mark. But seeing your FE figures, it seems like hyundai has improved it in its 2011 model. Hyundai says 16.3kmpl at acc...ent site. So, it should be around 13 on its downside for sure. your review certainly has provided some weightage to go for accent.Read More
