Hi Amit, Your review was good, and quite elaborate. But I'd like to add that do NOT shut the engine on the AVls using the decompressor. In case of the AVLs the decompressor switch is installed on the tappets and could fly off. Of course you don't really need the decomp to start an AVL unlike t...he STDs. This has happened to me and my comment on this is based on advice from reputed RE mechanics. ThanksRead More

Hey Rocky, I've seen your bike in several pictures, but took me a while to link you with Pallavi. Anyway, I've clocked nearly 5,000 km on the odo and it's been heaven. Pity all those kilometres are only inter-city and intra-city in and around Delhi. I haven't been able to get out of town as ye...t. Noises are still there, apparently some pinions in and around the timing chain are kept loose at the factory. THis might not hold true for all bikes. I go to the same service centre but each time a different mechanic has worked on it. The last time, this guy told me to ask for him and said that he's definitely minimise the sounds in the 3rd service. Apparently all T-Bird's aren't that noisy, some come with tightened tappets and tightened pinions/bearings whatever they are from the factory itself. A close pal bought a TB a month after I did and his machine is not noisy at all. Anyway, happy riding and keep on cruising .... Cheers!!!Read More

Lemme tell you something, u call an Eliminator a cruiser? Man, you haven't ever been on an Enfield or you seriously need to go for a course in motorcycel appreciation. From what I think of your review, it's based on looks. Agreed, the Aquila looks good, but even then, when a person sits on the Aquil...a, it looks damn small. The same goes for the Eliminator. As far as performance is concerned the Aquila's V-Twin must be definitely be a better machine, but the Eliminator!!! Man you got guts to even DREAM about comparing it with an Enfield. Whatever machine you got, come and meet the Bullet Club guys in your city and go on a long ride. (Here a long ride doesn;t mean commuting 20 something kilometres). We;re talking hundreds of kilometres dude! Then you'll realise what CRUISING is all about. IN the meantime, get a life, grow up and be a man!!!! Ride an Enfield, the Eliminators and Enticers are for all those who pretend to be men!!!Read More

Here it was, Aug 5, 2003, 1345 hrs, and the mechanic at the dealer's place handed me the keys to my new silver Thunderbird with disc brakes. I'd never tried riding the TB before and from reviews at the Royal Enfield website and here at MS ( I discovered MS while scouring the web for reviews on t...Read more

Hell, the only one of its kind, the Yamaha RX-100 is a fantastic bike!! For all those who have never tried revving up a RX, well, you try accelerating the bike and the awesome power its 11.5 horses deliver for a small 100 cc engine is incredible. Maintenance is minimal, and the average is,...Read more

Frankly, I bought my red Samurai in 1995 more for its looks and because of a lack of choice. I wanted a 2-stroke, good engine which'd last long and with a decent pick-up. Before I bought my baby, I already had a lot of experience on RX-100s and one KB-100. I was getting bored with so many RX-...Read more

Well, finally got to ride the HH ZMA, I like the 'Zma' name folks! Managed to steal a ride on a red one from a friend who's got two of them from Hero Honda. One's for himself and the other (yellow) for his riding companion and photographer, to do a two-month-long sojourn in the North East....Read more

Well here it was, a gleaming new Victor which had barely done 500 kms and I was gonna ride it. Frankly, I heard people say its a good bike and I really wanted to ride one to find out, after riding the Passion from Hero Honda and Caliber from Bajaj. I feel TVS needs to market the Victor in a b...Read more
