Ideally nothing should happen to engine or the tappets if you switch off the ignition by decomp lever. But the decompressure cup and the ring holding the cup could get spoilt when the engine is running. The ring has to sustain sheer stress of the valve spring to open the exhaust valve. Dude, Machismo having more character than T'bird is an accptable perception. But it doesnt sound any better than T'bird or throw out a better thump. Both these bikes have the same engine, same carb, same configuration. So apart from the looks...everything else is the same. Its left to you to sel...ect one of these two.Read More
